The apartment:

This spacious and stylish apartment is a great choice for any guest coming to Barcelona. On entering the apartment you are greeted by an original 'Cobi' - the dog mascot of the 1992 Olympic Games which put Barcelona firmly on the tourist map. The apartment has been recently refurbished in a moder...n and fashionable style.

The living/dining room has a large and comfortable corner sofa - which converts into a sofa bed for an additional guest, TV with satellite channels and DVD for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The french windows give access to a small balcony and allows an abundance of mediterranean sunlight to flood in. Should you choose to eat in, the wooden dining table will comfortably seat everyone.

The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons to ensure a stress free stay.

There are 4 bedrooms, the first three each have two single beds and the fourth bedroom has a single bed. All of the beds are high quality LATEX . All of the bedrooms have ample wardrobe space for your belongings.

The two stylish bathrooms come with walk in showers and fresh towels and linens are ready for your arrival. The main bathroom can be used as an en-suite solely for use by the main bedroom by locking one of the doors, or, if you choose, made available for everyone in the apartment.

The apartment has A/C in the living area and in the hallway between the bedrooms. Heating is also provided for a comfortable winter getaway and wireless internet for those who can't leave work behind.

  We travelled as an extended family with older parents and kids aged 14 and 10. Initially I was a bit quesy about renting an apartment cos you hear all the horror stories. However, I can vouch for Friendly rentals. I visited their offices in madrid and their service was impeccable from start to finish.
  
  The Cobi apartment was beautifully appointed and we were completely at home in it. Modern furnishings, lovely showers, warm lighting a fully stocked kitchen, Airconditioning that worked great, washer, dryer and a lovely super Quiet street. It was walking distance to many place and the station was right in front of it, if you feel so inclined as to use the subway. We just walked and took the taxi ( they are cheap in barcelona) everywhere. The rambles is just a few blocks away and it was great cos we just walked to it everyday after dark and hung out :) Barcelona was a delightful, cosmopolitan, pedestrian city full of surprises, whimsical architecture and fashionable people. The nicest guy checked us into the apartment and helped us out tremendously with the initial orientation :) We had plenty of space and room in the Cobi apartment. It was a great experience too cos we lived in a building that had real locals living in it. We hint our laundry out to dry like the residents, in the inside of the building and said hi to the neighbors cat everyday :) The kids loved to run out into the park right outside and play on the huge swings with all the local kids. We shopped for groceries and carried them back like everyone else. So, in just four days we got a taste of how life would be if we really lived in Barcelona :) And we loved it... Would definitely recommend it highly to anyone who wants to rent it. It was a breeze dealing with friendly rentals!

  Excellent Stay in Bacelona

  We loved our 5 night stay in the Cobi in Barcelona. The apartment we beautiful, very clean and very functional. We had 6 in our party, my wife and I, our 3 early 20's children, and one partner. We had plenty of room. We loved the neighborhood. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We spent 5 days in Barcelona, and only 1 taxi ride. Our location was great. We would definitely stay at the Cobi agian.

  Cobi is a very nice, four-bedroom apartment in a great location. It is on a traffic circle well-marked on city maps, so very easy to find, and is within walking distance from nearly everything.
  
  The four bedrooms had comfortable bed, nice linens and plenty of closet space. Both bathrooms were large, nicely appointed and well kept. The kitchen contained everything we needed when we chose to cook for ourselves, and the on-site washer, although older, was a nice convenience.
  
  The girl who met us when we arrived was very nice and professional, as was the gentleman who checked us out on our last day. Every time we dealt with them, whether via email, phone or in person was just great. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Wonderful people.
  
  I highly recommend this apartment for either a group of friends or a family group.
