      Great location & great aprtment

      The aprtment is located a 10 minute stroll from the top of the main square of Barcelona (Place Catalunya) on one of the main thoroughfares of Barcelona (the Gran Via Corts Catalanas). Our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) stayed for 5 days in September and this aprtment is in a great location for exploring the city.
      The apartment consists of two bedrooms and a large living/kitchen area and a bathroom with also a washing machine inside a cupboard.
      We were met within 5 - 10 minutes of arriving by John, from the airport (which only took about 20 odd minutes and around Euro25 - 30) and shown around the apartment. The apartment also has a large flat screen TV, DVD, oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Had some trouble working the washing machine; looked up the manual on the internet via the free Wi-Fi in the apartment.
      Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well.
      Apartment is clean and very comfortable. The walls could do with a bit of a clean, but stove, fridge, sink and bathroom were all nice and clean.
      There are two supermarkets within 5 minutes walk; one on the other side of the Gran Via Corts Catalanas, and the other the other way, but be warned, they do not open until 9.00 am! There are lots of cafes open in the mornuing, so it's not that bad. You can buy fresh baguettes from a chain store "La Baguettina" in Place Urquinaona which is not even 10 mins walk to the south.
      No problems about walking around at night in the area as there are lots of people around in the location.
      Bathroom has a nice big shower and extraction fan works well. There is also a safe in the main bedroom. The main bedroom had a large queen size bed and the other bedroom had two singles.
      Apartment is centrally located and it is so easy to get around. If you can use the London or Paris undergrounds, then you will have no problems at all with the system in Barcelona.
      Would definetyl recommend this aprtment as well as Barcelona, there is so much to see and do, that you would need at least 4 days to see the major sights.
