This large, comfortable and spacious five bedroom apartment is such a great spot and convenient location in the heart of Barcelona's most visited areas, the Barrio Gotic or Gothic Quarter.

The area surrounding the apartment:

The Oriol apartment is situated right in the heart of the old town in Barcelona, the Barrio Gotic or Gothic Quater. It's situated right in right by of one of Barcelona's most distingushed - but least visited- Gothic churches, the Santa Maria del Pi. The quite and attractive Placa del Pi in front of the church is filled with bars and restaurants... with outside seating where a cup of coffee goes down well while watching the quirky street performers which congregate to entertain the visitors most days. The area itself which surrounds the apartment is a body of pedestrianised interconnecting narrow cobble stoned streets where you can wander around aimlessly for hours imagining how it was back in medieval times. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall in Placa Jaume, which is 5 minutes walk from the apartment as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.

The apartment:

The Oriol apartment has been completely renovated to ensure your comfort. The living area has two comfortable sofas where you can sit back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There is also a small balcony overlooking the plaza below.

The apartment has two double bedrooms - one en-suite - and three bedrooms with twin beds in each. All of the bedrooms come with storage space for your belongings.

The three full bathrooms are elegantly done, one comes complete with bath/shower and the remaining two come with walk in showers. Fresh towels are provided for use on your arrival.

The spacious, modern and fully equipped kitchen/dining area is a dream for any would be chef - complete with all the mod cons that you would expect from an apartment of this calibre. There is also a flat screen TV and DVD in this area.

Leading from the kitchen, there is an interior patio where you can chill out with a nice bottle of local wine.

Whether in Barcelona for business of pleasure, this very centrally located apartment will ensure a memorable stay.

  From the moment we stepped off the plane and made the call to say we had arrived, everything was as we had expected it to be. Javier was waiting for us at the Apartment and explained how everything worked. The Apartment itself was spacious and well furnished with everything needed to allow us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The location was ideal, centrally situated just a short walk from everywhere we wanted to see.
