This great five bedroom apartment is in one of the best locations Barcelona city has to offer; with everything you can possibly need to hand and all the sights are right on your doorstep!!!

The Area surrounding the Apartment;

This wonderful, luxury apartment is on the corner of Ronda San Pere and Paseo de Gracia, one of Barcelona's grander avenue-like streets, that starts at Plaza Cataluña and continues till it meets with la Diagonal.

This location will allow the guest to step out of the apartment building onto Plaza Cataluña; off of this P...laza the guest will find Las Ramblas, with all the colourful street performers and the wonderful Boqueria market, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona...

From the apartment a short 5 minute walk will have you in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and el Born; this very trendy area is one of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhoods. An intricate maze of plaças and squares all interconnected by narrow, medieval streets where you will find lots of trendy boutiques and great bars, cafés and restaurants. This is the area that fell within the medieval walls and, until 150 years ago, made up the entire city of Barcelona.

With bars, clubs and hundreds of restaurants right on the doorstep of the apartment, you do not need to go far to enjoy all that the old town of Barcelona has to offer.

The Apartment;

This really is a fantastic apartment; with unbeatable location, high standard and quality, this is a fantastic choice while visiting Barcelona... this apartment faces to the back of the building so for it's central location it is a very quiet apartment!!

The Plaza Cataluña apartment has five bedrooms, HOWEVER, it is important to note that the twin bedrooms have an open plan layout.

The living room of this fantastic apartment is on the lower level and has french doors which open up onto the small balcony/terrace, here you will find a table and some chairs so the guests can enjoy the wonderful weather that Barcelona enjoys for much of the year; this allows for lots of natural light in the apartment making it a great area to relax and unwind after a hard day of sightseeing or shopping! before heading out to enjoy all this great city has on offer. Leading from the living area you will find the dining area and a fully equipped modern kitchen, ready for any guests wishing to prepare meals...

Also on this level you will find three bedrooms; The elegant master bedroom which comes complete with a double bed and ample wardrobe space for all your belongings. The two twin bedrooms are open plan in style and have a spiral staircase leading from the ground floor beds to a mezzanine area where you will find another area with two single beds. This bedroom is not recommended for children or for people who have difficulty with stairs.

A full modern bathroom in cool white marble and glass completes the lower level of the apartment.

An elegant wooden staircase takes you to the upper level where you will find the third twin bedroom. This is also open plan and you have to pass through this bedroom to reach the second double bedroom. Please note that this area has low ceilings.

A second full bathroom with spacious walk in shower completes the upper level of this fantastic apartment.

The apartment comes with TV and DVD for entertainment and has central air conditioning and heating so guests are comfortable no matter what time of the year they are visiting this great city!!!

  Met terrasje, maar jammer genoeg de noordkant dus geen rechtstreekse zon.

  Location was excellent. But although they say five bedrooms, one is on the landing so it's open-plan and no privacy and one bedroom had access from another room with no door so again no privacy.
  Could do with new beds. We had to ask the maintenance man to remove the legs of two of the beds because the were creaking.
  If you do not mind the lack of privacy then the apartment is good, as the location is excellent.

  The apartment itself was in a great location - the furniture could have been nicer. The bathrooms were clean and functional and the building appeared to be quite safe and secure. The TV had no cable or movie channels and there was'nt much other than spanish television. The service staff at Friendly Rentals were professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would return to stay at the same place to visit beautiful Barcelona again!
