The Area surrounding the Apartment;

This wonderful, luxury apartment is on the corner of Ronda San Pere and Paseo de Gracia, one of Barcelona's grander avenue-like streets, that starts at Plaza Cataluña and continues till it meets with la Diagonal.

This location will allow the guest to step out of the apartment building onto Plaza Cataluña; off of this... Plaza the guest will find Las Ramblas, with all the colourful street performes and the wonderful Boqueria market, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona...

From the apartment a short 5 minute walk will have you in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and el Born; this very trendy area is one of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhoods. An intricate maze of plaças and squares all interconnected by narrow, medieval streets where you will find lots of trendy boutiques and great bars, cafés and restaurants. This is the area that fell within the medieval walls and, until 150 years ago, made up the entire city of Barcelona.

With bars, clubs and hundreds of restaurants right on the doorstep of the apartment, you do not need to go far to enjoy all that the old town of Barcelona has to offer.

The Apartment;

This really is a fantastic apartment with unbeatable location, high standard and quality. It is the perfect choice while visiting Barcelona...this apartment faces the front of the building and has fantastic views over Plaza Cataluña and Montjuic.

This apartment has three bedrooms on the upstairs level of this duplex. The master bedroom has a double bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom complete with bath/shower unit, washbasin, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom also has a double bed with ample wardrobe space and the third bedroom comes with a single bed and wardrobe space.

The second bathroom is independant and complete with walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. Fresh towels are provided for guests on arrival.

The living/dining room of this lovely apartment is furnished in a comfortable and stylish manner with a large L shaped sofa, TV and DVD for relaxing. The dining table can comfortably seat all five guests if you choose to dine in instead of adventuring out to some of the fantastic restaurants that Barcelona has to offer.

The kitchen of this great aparmtent is fully equipped, modern and ready for any guest wishing to prepare meals...

  The location was fantastic! We didn't know Barcelona but this turned out to be the best place to stay for us: walking distance from shopping, across the street from a grocery store (for home-cooked meals) and pretty much every type of transportation you could need... taxis, buses, tourist shuttles, all stopped at Catalunya.
  The apartment was well furnished, we didn't lack anything, and everything was comfortable, clean, in good condition.
  The staff at FriendlyRentals was helpful when we first arrived, and we didn't need to call them at all the whole time we were there.
  I don't really think I have any criticism on this apartment! Ok, maybe one: one of the bedrooms was more of a glorified closet, but my 15 year-old slept there and didn't seem to care much.
