Apartment

The Universitat is a spacious and smart two bedroom apartment. It is stylishly decorated in warm browns and cool grays, wooden floors and bright color accents in the furniture and paintings. The main bedroom has a king size bed and TV with satellite while the second bedroom has a double bed to accommodate a total of four persons.

To make your life easier, the kitchen has been completely equipped with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kett...le, coffee maker, washing machine and dryer. There is a nice balcony overlooking the Villarroel street and it has a lift, very convenient since the apartment is located on the third floor.

Its proximity to the Palacio de Congresos and the Fira de Barcelona as well as the city’s main touristic sites makes the Universitat apartment ideal for leisure and business visitors alike. The area has excellent connections with the Barcelona airport and is close to the main railway station, Sants.

The Universitat apartment is located in a residential area of the Eixample district, a living museum of Modernist architecture. It is adjacent to the Plaza de España, where you can find the Fira, the Congress Palace, the Magic Fountains as well as The Miró Foundation and the Museum of National Art of Cataluña. And if you keep climbing up you will arrive to the emblematic Montjuic with the most amazing sky views of the city. This part of the Eixample has acquired a new relevance since the opening of the new restaurant of super chef Ferran Adrià. Not far away from the apartment is the theater district, some of them are traditional and picturesque buildings where you might have the chance to hear the most authentic flamenco singers as well as celebrated pop artists.



Barcelona is a walking friendly city. You are walking distance to almost anywhere and every place you look at is interesting, either a pleasant boulevard or a lovely turn of the century mansion or a charming plaza... The apartment's surroundings offers a variety of restaurants and coffee bars, as well as grocery shops, and there is also a supermarket on the corner. With no clubs or pubs in the vicinity, the street is quiet at night so you can have a peaceful sleep. The nearest metro station is just 100 metres from the apartment and connects you directly with Plaza Cataluña and several bus stops nearby, serving Plaza Catalunya and Fira Barcelona.
