Apartment

The Urgell Eixample is a comfortable and traditional apartment. It is ideal for both business and leisure visitors because of its convenient location close to the Congress Palace and the Fira, and its good connections with the airport and the main railway station. The apartment can accommodate up to five persons in its two bedrooms – one with king size bed and the other has a double bed. In the living room is a sleeping sofa.

The kitchen is completely equipped with fridge-fr...eezer, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker; washing machine. There are wooden parquet floors all through the house, which makes it sweet and homely. The living room is furnished with a 32" flat screen TV – satellite.

The apartment is located on the third floor and it has a lift. The traditional tiles on the entrance stairs are charming. There is air-conditioning and heating in each room so you can visit any time of the year.

The Urgell apartment is located in a residential area of the Eixample district, a living museum of Modernist architecture. It is not far from Plaza de España, where you can find the Fira, the Congress Palace, the Magic Fountains as well as The Miró Foundation and the Museum of National Art of Cataluña. And if you keep climbing up you will arrive to the emblematic Montjuic with the most amazing sky views of the city. Since the recent opening of the world renowned chef Ferran Adrià' snack bar and restaurant, this part of the Eixample has acquire a new relevance in the city.

Also at a short distance from the apartment is the theatre district, some traditional and picturesque buildings where you might have the chance to hear the most authentic flamenco players as well as the latest pop artists. Since Barcelona is such a walking friendly city you are at walking distance to almost everywhere. Anywhere you look you will find an interesting boulevard or a lovely turn of the century mansion or a charming plaza... The surrounding area offers a variety of restaurants and coffee bars, as well as grocery shops and there is also a supermarket on the corner. The street is quiet at night, with no clubs or pubs in the vicinity. The nearest metro station is just 100 metres from the apartment and connects you directly with Plaza Cataluña and several bus stops nearby, serving Plaza Catalunya and Fira Barcelona.
