The Plaza Catalunya Atico is on a marvellous location 20 metres from the famous Las Ramblas and one step from Portal del Ãngel. The Santa Ana street, where the apartment is located, owes its name to a hidden church. Two doors away from the apartment there is a XV century gate through which you arrive into a small square with a luscious garden and the beautiful double cluster gallery: the Santa Ana Church, concealed from the bustle of the street.
The Portal del Ãngel is one of the old city's doors and today one of the busiest shopping streets in Barcelona. It continues to be the passing through into the Gothic quarters, the Cathedral and the trendy Borne district. Or you can walk down Las Ramblas and enjoy the shops, the street artists, the colourful abundance of the Mercado de la BoquerÃa and the famous El Liceu Theatre.
The Plaza de Catalunya station is a few meters away with subways and trains going everywhere.
