This cottage is on a working farm near to the village of Staindrop close to Barnard Castle and sleeps five people in two bedrooms. Butterwick is set on a working farm close to the village of Staindrop in Teesdale, just five miles from Barnard Castle. The cottage has one family room with an ensuite and one twin, as well as a family bathroom which makes it suitable for five people. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars, a sheltered shared front courtyard with furniture and a designated play area for children (adult supervision r...equired). Ideal for exploring the northern Dales, Butterwick is sure to appeal to the whole family.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  This is a lovely spacious barn, light and relaxed- great for a family group. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and with friendly owners next door. Could have done with a good clean and some maintainance but overall very good. The dog living on the other side of the road is a bit fierce and doesn't like other dogs.
