Lupin Lane Cottage is located in the small community of Port La Tour on Nova Scotia’s picturesque Lighthouse Coast. It is about a 10 minute drive to Barrington, 35 minutes to Shelburne, an hour to the ferry at Yarmouth and approximately 2.5 hours to Halifax.
Situated on a spacious oceanfront lot with a large lawn and direct access to over 600 feet of shoreline, Lupin Lane is a private seaside retreat. The beach is cobble stone at the shoreline and has a rocky berm that protects the garden from tidal surges. It is the perfect place to spend a day playing, walking or just simply relaxing listening to the ebb and flow of the tide.

Lupin Lane is a beautiful house with fabulous ocean views. It is very quiet and great for wildlife.You need to stock up on provisions as nearest supermarket is a good 20 mins drive away.
The only bad point for our family of 5 was that 2 bedrooms only had access to the bathroom at night via another bedroom or a long walk downstairs and through the house. However if peace and quiet are what you are looking for - this is the place for you. -

Such a glorious week in this lovely home. We had a delightful week (2 parents, 2 toddlers and grandma!). Quiet, gorgeous space to really "get away from it all" and enjoy the scenery and surrounding beaches and area. Very child-friendly and would highly recommend!
