Our rate for our Batam apartment (3 rooms 8 Persons) is $120/$100 Singapore for single night and public holidays or $80 / night for stays of 2 nights or more. This means that 8 persons staying for 2 nights or more = approx $10 SGD per person.
We offer a special rate of $50 / night for couples only (Sun - Thursday)
* We only rent the whole apartment. We do not rent out individual rooms

We've stayed at the apartment 3 times now so I thought it time to write a deserved review.
Each time we've stayed, we've given some feedback to the owners and they've always responded. The first time we stayed the water pressure was not so good so they changed the shower and it's much better now. They've put a new large LCD TV in the lounge and on this visit they've installed a water purifier for drinking which has made a big difference as I don't get a Batam Belly now !
The apartment is always clean, there are fresh sheets and towels a plenty and the kitchen is well equipped The maid is always happy to help us with anything we need and we really enjoyed the barbecue she made for us. She even arranged a massage for $15 at the apartment which was very good.
Credit where it's deserved these folks really know how to look after their guests and are well recommended. -

Stayed for a lovely weekend in June. The apartment is really quite large and could easily house lots more than our group but the owners told us they have a limit so that neighbours are not disturbed. all the rooms were of good quality and it was very clean. The maid came in the morning to clean and make sure all was ok. We paid her a bit extra to do a barbie on the Sat night, it was very tasty.
A lovely place to relax with friends. -

Went for a weekend to play some golf and check out the cable ski at waterfront. The apartment is very spacey and is kept very clean by the lovely lady who comes each day to look after things. I wouldn't call it 5 star but it is very comfortable and quite adequate to serve the needs of people looking for a cheap stay without making a compromise on quality. The bedrooms are fine, the lounge area is good for groups of people to sit around and play e.t.c. as it's spread out and joins the kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen is quite well equipped with lots of utensils cutlery and crockery all of good quality. There are 2 bathrooms which are clean and functional. All in all we got we we were told we were going to get on the web site and we really enjoyed it.

A group of us stayed to celebrate our friends birthday. We were really well looked after by the maid who manages the place. The bedrooms are a good size, the apartment could easily cater for more people but the owners say they prefer to keep a limit, The apartment is clean and tidy and there are plenty of fresh clean towels and sheets available and we also had the maid do our laundery which is a bonus compared to the high charges in hotels for this service.
It was a change to be able to enjoy Batam away from the noise in Nagoya but also be able to take a taxi there (20 minutes) when we wanted to shop or visit a food court. Was also nice to be able to have a barbecue.
The apartment looks out over the sea so its good to relax.
All in all a good trip and nice place to stay

Overall, a mixed bag...
The complex was safe, which was a concern to us given the increasing crime reported in Batam. Partly, the security is due to the fact that it is a long way from the city center. Count on about a 20-30 minute drive by taxi to get to Nagoya Hill shopping center.
The clubhouse at the golf club is basic but the cafe's food was good local casual fare.
The pool was clean, but far from the clubhouse and a small jaunt from the apartments.
The owner supposedly had golf clubs and a washing machine for the apartment but the maid kept them locked in a closet. Ibu Maryati is a pleasant lady, she was just minding the safety of her boss's private possessions and clearly was not told to make things available to guests.
No internet unless you walk to the clubhouse -- available between 7 am and 7 PM
One or two television channels with spotty reception -- local channels.
Kitchen had a presspot for making coffee. Otherwise, just two cooking hobs and a tiny fridge. Bachelor or couple material, not really for people who seriously cook. We cooked for ourselves as it was Ramadan.
An odd karaoke machine in the master bedroom. Microphones apparently among the things locked in the closet. Hard beds, and the sheets weren't big enough to tuck in on them. The mosquito netting was too small for the master bed so it kept crawling up into the bed and getting tangled in arms and legs.
Plastic bathroom shelves, minimal arrangements for towels, etc.
The apartment is fourth floor and no lift...don't bring big bags...
I would probably recommend for a few men going to play golf and have a very quiet stay, who didnt mind being far removed from most activities and shopping. For people with teenagers, it wasn't the best fit.
Clarification should be made here -- the price was inexpensive --so although it wasn't "great", it is a fair value for the price, if someone is just going to golf.Response from Ian and Imelda - 08/21/2011

It is disappointing to read that these guests were not entirely satisfied with their stay. We had several requests for information regarding activities available at the resort prior to booking and answered them all honestly by explaining that Golf, Swimming, Gym, Driving range and tennis courts were all available.
We make it clear in our introductory letter that we prefer all guests to inspect our apartment and if they are satisfied make a prompt payment, in this case payment was not made and we had to call personally and ask for payment to be made.
When we made the call, our guests had already been with us for some time so we asked if all was ok and wre told 'so far so good'.
We are encouraged by the fact that security at our resort is managed effectively but would challenge the claim that Batam is unsafe, Indonesia is populated by a majority of safe God fearing people and is famed for its culture and the way it treats visitors, in our experience Batam is no different.
The washing machine and the golf clubs are kept in the laundry room; this room is kept locked as it belongs to the maid. There are 3 sets of golf clubs available to all guests, 1 ladies 2 gents, according to our maid they were not requested on this visit neither were they requested in any correspondence prior to the visit.
Our kitchen area has a two ringed stove, a microwave cooker and a family sized refrigerator with freezer compartment. There's sufficient plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans e.t.c. available for well in excess of the 7 guests we can accommodate.
We offer a service for our maid to cook within her working hours and our feedback has always been positive.
Our bedrooms come with mosquito nets which need to be arranged correctly each night, our maid can organise this if requested. Air conditioning is installed and we also supply electronic anti-mosquito devices. As the apartment is on the fourth floor and close to the sea mosquitoes are rarely a problem.
The master bedroom and bedroom 2 have sprung mattresses.
We do not advertise that internet is available at our apartment but we do make guests aware that there is a hot spot at the club house.
The karaoke machine referred to here is located in the master bedroom as it serves as an extra radio receiver should guests wish to use it, we have never advertised the availability of karaoke.
Fresh towels and sheets are available in abundance; there is a towel rail available in each bathroom.
Our apartment is located on the fourth floor which according to our many guests adds to the atmosphere and vistas to be had from the balcony. Assistance with bags is available.
Our apartment offers great value for money for groups and couples whether seeking a family break or playing golf. -

Enjoyed my family, and relatives in our Batam Getaway in the 3-room apartment with a cozy view of the beach and the kids enjoyed much time in the swimming pool. The food Mariati prepared for us was just amazing. Evening time is so relaxing making you forget all the worries in life.
Definitely worth going back. -

We stayed in a group of 7. The apartment was great and all the facilities good also. Spent most of the time chilling on the terrace looking over the sea and doing nothing. Would definitely recommend Batam holiday apartment and hope we can go again soon.

I just love this apartment. located right on the beach and has both ocean and city views that are wonderful to come home to. all rooms are very clean.good amenities. this place is gorgeous, quiet and spacious. i love the balcony where i can sit and staring at the beach. i would recommend this apartment to all my friends. and would definitely stay here when i have a chance to visit batam again.

I had been staying in this place more than 5 times, since 2008 up to 2010, the apartment have 3 bedroom ,guest room ,kitchen room, and very beautiful place, from the balcon we can see lovely sea panorama and have good weather, we can enjoy and feel very comfortable when we stay in this apartment.
This apartment good for staying with our family,friends or with special friend :), we can do BBQ ,small party , relax time (swimming, golf,gym and so on). I feel very satisfied once stay in this apartment. I missing for this apartment, one day if i have time i would like to visit and stay in this apartment again. -

My wife and I made this trip to Batam as wehad never been to the Far East, it was so important we stayed in what we considered a safe place, it was .
The appartment was beautiful with every thing we could want, plenty of space ,very clean and a maid to change towels and linen, and even cook occasionally, lots of ameneties close by, Pool Gym Tennis courts and a Golf clubhouse where you could get Meals and drinks.
Batam town is not too far for modern shopping. -

My friends and I were looking for an affordable place to stay in Batam for the holiday. Lucky for us we found the apartment! The location was nice and we had a very comfortable stay, all 9 of us. The apartment had a great view of the beach, close to the swimming pool and the clubhouse. All in all excellent value for money place to stay.
