Luckily, we found this condo for our one month stay in SE asia, after having looked at various options in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and other places in Malaysia. Been before in Malaysia, but never in Penang, we knew pretty much what we wanted and here we found it! A beautiful, calm, secure place close to the sea and to the action. But not too close to be of disturbance. Miami Green Resort fulfills just that. A huge pool area where one can mingle with other residents, a gym where you can start your day and enough with plants and running water, to ease you down. Just perfect to return to after a day's sight seeing and shopping! Sounds like an advertising, right? But that was how we saw it! The condo itself was just great! All the comforts we wanted, well designed and decorated , you really liked the evenings inside with your book, coffee or drink after a dinner out there. A fully equipped kitchen for breakfasts, snacks and lunches made it easy to just take in the day in its ease. Not necessary to go anywhere if you did not feel for it. I also liked the contacts with our landlords, mainly Sharon, throughout the process of our inquiry, booking and during the whole stay. Very friendly and service minded. Even so, that when we wanted to return in January and this condo was already occupied, she managed to arrange us a similar condo to rent. That's Service ! So, if you are like us, stop looking around, this is it!

We really enjoyed our Christmas holiday in Penang and in Miami Green.
Renting the apartment was easy and Sharon was very helpful. She provided a lot of useful information before we arrived to Penang and was in contact to us during our stay.
Apartment is very cozy and there´s a lot of good DVD´s available if you want to spend the night "at home".
Miami Green location is quite good, not in walking distance to Batu Ferringhi center but you can go there by bus or by taxi with cheap price. You can get local food for lunch or just grilled corn with very cheap price just across the main street by the sea.
I would recommend the apartment especially for families with children. The pool is big and not very deep and the slide by the small pool is something most children love!

We, a family of 3 with a 3-yr old, stated for 3 weeks in Nov-Dec 2012. The apartment had absolutely all necessities for our stay, making it possible to enjoy the vacation from the first minute. Sharon and Leslie gave us additional tips for family-friendly things to do, in addiction to give us late-night advice when the fuse shut down! The outdoor area in Miami Green is very nice, with lovely pools for all ages. The gym room is a bit run down, many of the cardiovascular machines were out of function and took a long time to replace. Finally there is a nice beach a few minutes walk away. We would especially recommendation trying Marys "roti prata" with curry at the Thulaasi Beach Cafe - very simple surroundings, but such hospitality!

We arriving at late evening, the first impression of the house is "what you see is what you get", that was really nice! The ambient, the designer's taste of interior, king size bed with quality linen.. my family love almost everything!
The pool and gym are the places we visit everyday. My kids went to the pool twice a day, they just love it. The neighborhood is friendly and helpful. 60% of non-local as we can see. They are from all over the places in the world - Japan, Australia, UK, Korea.. We had a good time here. We joined cooking class at Batu Feringghi and the kitchen is equipped with everything perfectly to prepare for our malay dishes.
We travel with our 1 year old baby girl. The place has a baby cot. Sharon is kind enough to share with us her baby girl's toys and books. She even get baby bath tub and towel ready for our girl.
Public buses are very convenience. Came on time, very frequent. Bus station is nearby within walking distance. We get our groceries from Tesco which is just situated few min drive from Miami Green. There is a convenience store inside MG just in case you need something urgent during your cooking ;)
We had a very comfy pleasant stay here. Sharon & Leslie were wonderful hosts and very kind and helpful. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home and were extremely generous with their time. They are kind enough to buy us dinner upon our arrival.. nasi lemak, satay, coconut water.. those came on time to fill up our hungry stomach. How thoughtful they were!
We had a pleasant stay n we will definitely go back there again. -

This place has everything you need in an apartment. Even a baby cot, if you have a young one with you. The swimming pool at the complex was great. The beach is a walking distance, though we didn't really take a swim there. It was nice for walks and casual lunches/quick snacks. The hosts were great too! The only minus is the location, you will need a cab for pretty much everything.

The condo is well kept and very comfortable for 4 adults.
Public bus is within easy walking distance, and the security was very helpful in getting us a taxi. Taxi service in Penang is not a pleasant experience tho', as drivers refuse to use their meters, and haggling can get troublesome and tedious. The owners, Sharon and Leslie, were very warm and caring, and even called to check on our needs.
Overall...a very pleasant stay, and we would definitely recommend for longer stays, and would love to come back again. -

We travelled with our 5 year old and 6 month old baby. Sharon and Leslie's apartment was well equipped for our children with the pool, cot and air conditioning for those hot days. The location was great, close to the beach near a great the eatery called Copa Cabana. Sharon referred us to one of the neighbours for some much needed babysitting so husband and I could enjoy a jet ski. We look forward to going back each year.

I have been staying here for quite some time. most of the time are business trip.
the location is just nice for me a busy business lady, after long tiring day, i just wanna get out of the congested town area. here is the middle point from tanjung bunga to batu feringgi. you can hang out in any launge or cafe easily when you are bored.
the beach is even nearer, about 5 minutes drive. Batu Feringgi is a long beach and the sand at here is fine and nice.. sun bath... something i love on sunday morning.
the facility in the house is everything i need. Tv, air con, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. and the most important thing is clean and tidy!
lastly, what makes me come back is the friendly house owners whom a couple who always care of what a guest needed. You feel always being taken care of.
Yes, I will be back in my next trip.. if it is not fully booked. As I knew it is a hot cake in town now..
so if you are planning to get a home stay in Penang, and have the same likes as me, this place is the best choice.
