Self-catered fascinating stone-built house surrounded by a terraced garden. A prominent characteristic of the house is the stunning view it offers of the three Borromean islands. Ideal for couples, group of friends and golfers.

This romantic house offers four double bedrooms, all with private bathroom and fantastic view on the lake.

La Sorgente is located just fifteen minutes' walk from the town and the ferry. With the ferry You can reach most of the "beauties" of the lake such as the Borromean islands, Santa Caterina Monastery, Villa Taranto Gardens and many more.

There are several different good restaurants in the area a...nd, if you are a Golf lover, here you may feel like You are in paradise; There are 3 golf courses within 15Km from the ouse and another 4 around the Lake Maggiore.

The house is ideal for those who want to visit the beautiful area, for Golf Lovers and also for those who are seeking mountain sports with plenty to see and do during their stay.

La Sorgente has four double bedrooms with view over the Borromean Gulf, all with private bathroom. This romantic house has a beautiful dining room with stunning lake view. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to have breakfast and dine al fresco.

From the House You can easily reach Baveno and Stresa by foot. From there You can catch the Ferry and visit all the places on the lake such as the Borromean Islands,Angera Castle and Santa Caterina Monastery or the famous Street Market in Luino (wednesday).

Baveno and Stresa offers several different Local Restaurants and attractions as the Friday Street Market in Stresa. You could reach the top of the Mottarone Mountain (1500 Mt.) by Cable Car from Carciano (Stresa) or, if You like to walk, there is a path next to the House that You can follow for a short, long or very long walk (4 hours) to the Top of the Mottarone!

Orta Town on the omonimous Orta Lake it is only 30 minutes far by car and it's a must visiting. A half a day tour to Orta will give You the opportunity to visit the "Sacro Monte" and the small San Giulio Island too.

We are a few kilometres far from Valgrande Natural Park, the green Val Vigezzo (the Painters Valley) and Val
Formazza with its evocative Toce Falls.

But this area is also fantastic for sports lovers with inside interesting routes for bikes or walking through horse-farms. Here You can enjoy Horse riding, hiking, walking, climbing, biking and skiing..and, with 7 Golf courses around the lake, Golf Lovers will have a new course to play every day.

Finally, if You want to taste some good wine, do not forget to visit the "Basso Piedmont" area. Fara, Spanna, Gattinara are not only names of Towns. They are also the names of the very good wines produced in this area only 60 Km far from our House.

  In april I took my family (daughter,son in law and two teenaged granddaughters for a week's stay at La Sorgente. It was a wonderful relaxing holiday, even if the weather was not the greatest.The accommodation was great. Every bedroom has a private bathroom and the views from the bedroom windows or the patio where we had our breakfast absolutely breath taking, overlooking beautiful Lago Maggiore and the Borromean islands. The kitchen is small but well equipped. More than adequate to prepare breakfasts . There is also a patio door which leads straight into the garden.
  Francesca and Riki were warm and welcoming, gave us excellent tips regarding the best eating places and great ideas as to what to do, for example they suggested the Baveno adventure Park which the girls adored. We shall most certainly be back.
