The area is well located for enjoying Northumberlands Heritage Coast with many of the regions major attractions in close proximity - there is something for all ages and appetites.

Harbour Cottage boasts an exceptional location overlooking Beadnell Harbour and out accross the bay. This picturesque and peaceful village is situated on the Northumberland coast, approximately 10 miles from Alnwick and 40 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne. Charming and accessible, this is one of the most popular holiday villages on the Heritage coastline. The village boasts a stunning beach along this stretch of coastline which extends over 3 miles southwards all the way to Newton-by-the-Sea. With Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island to the North, there are plenty of excursions to be had.

Wonderful cottage literally a minute from the beach with fantastic views of the bay from the first floor lounge. Very spacious, comfortable and extremely well equiped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beadnell had always been one of my favourite spots on the UK coastline since I was a child and I have always made a point of booking a break in that area every year. This year I seemed to hit the jackpot! Not only was the weather impeccable but we stayed in what must be the best house in Beadnell! The cottage is delighful, with bright airy spaces and a modern yet homely feel - we really relaxed during the week. The location overlooking the harbour and bay was so convenient if we fancied a stroll along the beach or even the two miles to The Ship at Newton-by-the-Sea for crab sandwiches. We spent our days exploring the area by foot from our brilliant little base in Beadnell and our nights relaxing, watching the sun fade behind the sand dunes. Harbour Cottage was the perfect relaxing break for my partner and I - we have already re-booked for next year!
