This 18th century, stone built, pet friendly cottage for 6 people is just a minute's walk from the harbour and beach of Beadnell Bay, part of Northumberland's Heritage Coast and close to the towns of Seahouses and Bamburgh. With a large portion of the area's major tourist attractions within easy driving distance, this cosy eighteenth century stone cottage is also less than a minute's walk for Beadnell Bay, leaving you able to take advantage of all the various activities this great location has to offer. The cottage itself has been completely renovated and provides charm, character and comfortable accommodation for up to six people. With a sp...acious fitted kitchen/diner and a good-sized living room, this house is a fantastic place for a getaway with friends, family, or a romantic break for two. The attractive walled garden of this lovely house is a great, secluded spot in which to enjoy some outdoor dining, or simply to relax in after a long day on the beach.

Town: Popular for its quaint harbour and nearby sandy beaches, Beadnell is only minutes away from the charming village of Seahouses, and the variety of amenities on offer there. At one point, this picturesque little settlement was a haven for smugglers but nowadays, caters to a more sedate clientele of fishermen and seasonal tourists. With a supermarket, shops and restaurants close by, you need never go further afield, however with the Farne Islands, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the market town of Bamburgh on your doorstep, there are plenty of great excuses for a day out in the spectacular scenery of Northumberland.

This is a comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. Great for walking the dogs and just unwinding . T mobile or EE. has no signal , you have to move inland to get one. No wifi in the cottage either , so you are cut off from all the normal distractions. We have been three times. It's not the ritz but it's cozy and comfortable .

Excellent service as always from Sykes. We have rented their cottages for many years and have never been dissapointed. Beach cottage at Beadnell was a lovely, comfortable cottage not even a minutes walk from the beach. It was modern and had character. It surprised me with it's spaciousness. A lovely big kitchen with plenty in it. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were great for my elderly Mum. The beds were very comfy, (always important) and perfect for a good nights sleep after the beautiful long coastal walks during the day. The beach literally on the doorstep was fantastic for all sorts of watersports and sandcastles! Local village small and welcoming with pubs close by for meals. The harbour was lovely, sat with a cup of tea watching the sunset.. who could ask for more..we had great weather too.

We had rented this cottage before and found it to be comfortable without being too elegant. It is well apponted with all the "mod cons" one might need. Its location only yards from both the beach and the harbour made it ideal for our 8 year old grandson and his parents. Not only is in one of the most unspoilt places in the UK but the local people were both frindly and welcoming. We have booked again for next summer!

Nice Cottage in a stunning beachside location

Beach Cottage is exactly what it says on the tin! Only yards to the stunning Beadnell beach and harbour. It was seventh heaven for our dog Boswell who was welcome at the cottage and swam every day at the entrance to the harbour. The cottage itself was clean, extremely spacious and very comfortable, nicely refurbished but retaining character. Kitchen knives need sharpening and instructions on the heating would have been useful. Beadnell village was very pleasant, albeit we found the pub and chip shop quite expensive. Access to the surrounding towns and villages was very easy and it's a great base from which to explore.

This cottage was in the most wonderful location.
Beach walks were aplenty and within a one minute stroll to the harbour.
When choosing holiday accommodation again, I shall make contact with Sykes.
Ample utensils, comfortable living room, magnificent fireplace with open fire. Very comfortable bedrooms with breath-taking views over Beadnell Bay.
Location perfect for exploring Northumbria - a county without parallel.

The cottage was lovely, the garden was enclosed, but not secure enough for the dog or for children.
The cottage is right next to the beach and on a windy day it certainly sits in the path of the wind up the road. However, that said, we had a lovely stay, we enjoyed the cottage - it was peaceful, and relaxng for us. Northumbria is a wonderful part of the country and somewhere we would go again, but probably not this cottage.
Beware one of the kitchen chairs - someone has thoughtfully sawn off some of one of the legs - leaving it very unstable! The owner may have changed it since we were there though.
The cottage was clean and warm with the fire - just what was needed on a cold autumn day.
