Town: Situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline, Beadnell Bay is an attractive and peaceful harbour village established in Saxon times as an important fishing village and a 'smuggler's haven'. Somewhat more peaceful now, this settlement still lists fishing as one of its major sources of income but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and nearby sandy beaches. Within the village itself is a shop and two pubs which serve excellent food. This is a cosy, very nice holiday home. It was the last holiday for me and my
husband, who died of a sudden heart attack 8 months later. Beadnell and
blessed Northumbria was a haven of happiness for the two of us. My husband
liked everything: the village with its nice pubs and good restaurant. It is not
too busy, compared to Seahouses, but surrounded by wonderful countryside,
the sea, the overwhelming stretch of golden sandy beaches (where we used to
walk and cycle) and old towns and cosy villages. The flat was perfect for our
needs, offers every amenity, is very well cared for, well-equipped and
tastefully decorated, with lots of windows and a light, modern atmosphere.
But most important, it´s just a five minute stroll away from the sandy
beaches and has a splendid view over the sea to Dunstanburgh Castle, We
were really happy there and I´m grateful that we had this perfect stay in

Very helpful and friendly service. This is a really lovely apartment and very well equipped. We left a t-shirt behind and the owner kindly told us about it then posted it to us.
The location is lovely and the locals are incredibly friendly. Just up the road is the unspoilt coastline and Bamburgh which is well worth a visit. Stunning location.
I have nothing bad to say about either the apartment or the area, it was a fantastic break which is highly recommended.
