Interaction with guest

Granary Barn is located on our working family farm, surrounded by peaceful countryside with lots of lovely walks, where you may spot Red Kites, Deer, rabbits, pheasants and partridge to name a few. Angus Isabel and I live on the farm so are on hand to help you when you need help. We have several discount vouchers for main attractions in the area. Beamish Museum, Alnwick Castle, Tanfield Railway, Durham City and Newcastle City been very popular and don't forget Hadrians Wall - we have walked it as a family so we have lots of handy tips. We do ask guests to call or text us approx. half an hour before arrival. Hope this helps and look forward to welcoming you to Granary Barn soon

Response from the owner Thank you for taking the time to post a review, but obviously we are disappointed at your comments. All our cottages are graded 4 Star Gold and 5 Star At point of booking I explained that Granary Barn had already been booked and the only cottage we had available was Riding Cottage I am sorry the bed was suited to your requirements and must say it is the first time it has been raised, all our guests comment on what good sleep they have. We pride ourselves on our cottages and the service we provide but obviously on this occasion we have not lived up to your expectations which is a shame .
