WE CLOSE FROM JANUARY 2 OF EVERY YEAR AND REOPEN ON MARCH 18.

The General's Cabin is a rustic, yet elegant cabin nestled in the woods on a gated and private 40 acres built by famed Flying Tiger, and World War II ace, General James W. Little. Private, peaceful, and just 9 miles from Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. No other cabins or people on this stunning property.

Lush woodland vistas out every room with a soaring wall of windows to capture the evening sunset

A pond with a dock stocked with blue-gill, crappie, and bass for your private use. No fishing license is required.

1480 square feet of living space on one level with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, 2 gas fireplaces, one king bedroom, 2 twins with adjoining bath, loft overlooking great room with a tent for children, floor pillows, table, and chairs most suitable for children.

No light pollution so star gazing is amazing! Quiet and secluded. Hammock tucked under trees. Able to access email, etc. via I-phone as Cell Phone reception excellent t. A TV with DVDs on site. NO LOCAL CABLE or WIFi.

“Amazing time”

The cabin was perfect for our needs and stay. I wasn't sure I was going to get my wife to leave. Very quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. Would recommend it again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Joy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
