Spectacularly situated high above the pretty village of Beauly, this cottage enjoys magnificent views out to the Beauly Firth and Inverness. The property is furnished, equipped and decorated to a very high standard and offers comfortable warm accommodation. There is ample parking, a secure fenced garden with sun-house and a lockable shed for storing bikes. As one double bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, it may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

This is a an excellent place to stay. The house is very well and generously equipped especially when it comes to cooking and eating. The view from the front is good. There's plenty of parking space. The owners made us very welcome on arrival and were very obliging. It's not far from Inverness and there's plenty of walking and sight seeing around. Beauly is a nice village with good shops, takeaways and at least one good hotel restaurant (we didn't have time to try the others!) The local pipe band plays in the village centre on Thursday evenings. Well worth going to hear!
We would recommend a car since it's 1.25 miles or so from the village and the hill is steep. -

On arrival we received a very friendly greeting from the owner and were shown round the cottage. The cottage is beautfully located above the vilage of Beauly with far ranging views across the glen and right up the Beauly Firth to Inverness. The cottage was very well equipped and suited our needs as it has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom plus a separate sitting and dining roo all of which were clean and airy. The cottage has a big and secure garden with a summer house positioned to enjoy the views. Beauly is a great base for exploring the Highlands above the Great Glen and for getting to the West Coast and Skye.
All in all we had a wonderful time and plan to come back soon. -

This is the best property we have visited in more than 20 years with Mackays. Beautifully clean, all facilities required are provided. Garden enclosed and with great views. Beauly is pleasant town with shops and takeaways. Would reccomend to anyone.
