ilkestonThe setting is very peaceful and all you need is nearby.

The owner was really helpful with directions and the cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived after a 9 hour journey. The cottage is very nicely laid out and has all the amenities that you could need. The location opposite the wood is wonderful and we saw plenty of interesting birdlife and a Red squirrel. It's a great base for touring the Northern highlands and across to Skye as well.

AlloaA lovely peaceful, relaxing stay.

We had fantastic stay at 'Four Seasons'. This holiday home has everything you need, and is very warm and inviting. Fiona is an excellent host and lovely to chat to. We loved watching the wonderful variety of birds that visit the feeders, and feeding/watching the cheeky red squirrels that visit the garden too.
The garden is absolutely beautiful and very safe and secure, our little dog loved the freedom of running/exploring all around it. On the first morning of our stay it had been snowing and it all looked absolutely magical. Waking up to the lovely birdsong and hearing the woodpeckers drumming in the woodland by the cottage was such a treat too. We absolutely hated to leave, and very much hope that we will be able to return for another visit in the future. -

Excellent service, very comfortable house, well equipped and warm (necessary for a stay in January!) Well situated for exploring the area and only a short drive from Beauly which has good selection of shops, including a very good delicatessan. Liked rural location although Inverness about 30min distant. Garden secluded and enclosed and in summer must be a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Fiona is very friendly and helpful. The bungalow is excellent, very clean and well equipped. Lovely garden, shame we didn't have time to relax in it.We used the accommodation as a base for shopping in Inverness and visiting friends in alness and it was perfect, although a car is essential.
