Hillside house with stunning sea views from all rooms, just outside the magical town of Begur in Catalan Spain. The spacious family home is available to rent year round. Situated in a quiet, secluded neighbourhood with scattered luxury villas on a forested hill. No high-rise hotels nearby. Begur, a beautifully preserved mediaeval town, is 90 minutes north of Barcelona, and 45 minutes from Gerona, in the unspoilt portion of the Catalan coast. The three-story house sleeps six comfortably, and has two balconies and four sunny patios. Sea views from the balconies are superb. Five secluded beaches are accessible by car, with the closest five minut...es away. Five excellent golf courses nearby, playable all year round. Begur, with its charming hilltop castle, is within walking distance and has fantastic restaurants and boutiques along its narrow, ancient streets.

Two swimming pools: one permanent in-ground (3x6 metres) and an above-ground plunge pool (3 metre hexagon). Barbecue, picnic table and lounge chairs. The permanent pool is recently completed and is surrounded by a spacious tiled deck. It is reached by a few steps from the terrace where the plunge pool and jacuzzi are situated. The sea views from the pool and surrounding terrace are stunning. The jacuzzi, a rarity in Spain, is wonderful for unwinding after a busy day shopping or at the beach. Guests absolutely love it, especially on dark, star-filled nights with the nearby Med glinting in the moonlight. An above ground plunge pool is a few steps from the jacuzzi and is refreshingly cool. It has consistent depth of 1.2 metres and is therefore suitable for most children. There is a lovely patio area in front of the house, another midway down, a third by the jacuzzi and plunge pool and a fourth by the big pool. Additional Location Information

One mile drive or walk to centre of Begur, a charming, well-preserved mediaeval town with lots of lovely restaurants and boutiques. Other villages and towns like medieval Pals are only a 10 min drive. Day trips to Salvador Dali's home and museum are well worth the 1/2 hour drive to Pubol or 1 hour drive to Figueres. Further out on the coast, visit his summer home in Cadaques, a beautiful little fishing village. Girona is a lovely medieval, walled city with a stunning cathedral. Walk the town walls and see the university. Great shopping, restaurants and easy parking that's free!
