Description from the owner
Seaclusion is a gorgeous waterfront cottage with amazing views of Penobscot bay. Many over-sized windows and a screen porch allow the guest to keep the water in view when dining, watching the TV or just rocking. The cottage is fresh and clean with pine and slate floors. Vaulted ceiling and fans create an open airy feel in the great room. Cooking is easy in the fully equipped kitchen and the dining table overlooks the sea. Relax in the jetted tub or just wash the sand off in the great shower. Chairs and picnic table on the private lawn are great for resting, eating, and enjoying the view.

Left on 12/29/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed at ann's cottage for 3 days during our vacation in Maine. The accommodations were great! On site laundry, plenty of parking for guests and the beautiful view of the ocean! I would highly recommend this to my out of state friends (and did!). We look forward to staying there again!

This beautiful cottage allows views of the open water with spectacular sunrises. The cottage is perched on a small shelf 20 feet above the ocean and a staircase allows water access to the tidal zone.
A couple miles away is Belfast with some great shopping and dining choices.
If hiking and cycling are in your repetoire The Camden Hills are south along Route 1 and acadia National Park is to the north. Both destinations also offer superb scenery from your vehicle. If reading a book or breathing in the fresh Maine air is your desire the cottage has a small lawn with unobstructed vistas of what is called "vacationland". -

BostonMaine Magic at Seaclusion Cottage
Left on 12/15/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My husband and I stayed at Seaclusion over Labor Day weekend last year. I cannot say enough great things about this cottage and the location. The view is amazing, it's like a painting! The cottage is bright and airy with wonderful windows that overlook the bay, capturing the beauty of the Maine coast! The kitchen is fully equipped and we made dinner there most nights. Downtown Belfast is close and has great shopping, bars, and restaurants. We took a day trip to acadia National Park and drove the park loop and ate popovers on Jordan Pond. After being out all day, we returned to a stunning peach sunset at Seaclusion. We can't wait to go back this summer! Such a peaceful and restful stay in a clean and beautiful cottage.
