      Great accommodations

Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012

The home was just ideal for our family. It had enough space for all and quiet nooks for alone time. The main house allowed for the whole family to gather and visit all in comfort. The apartment gave the part of the family with small children the space they needed and permitted them to safely tuck them in at night without being disturbed by the noise and loud conversation of the rest of us into the wee hours.

The only drawback was the fact it was far to travel to some of the events we had to attend. However, it was close enough to the airport that it was not a hassle to drop off people for their early plane departures, which we found was the norm in Bozeman.

The disappointment was that the sauna was not in working order and had not been addressed until after our arrival, even though the house was unoccupied for several days prior.

A Family Reunion Under One Roof

Left on 07/25/2011 for a stay in July 2011

My two grown boys and their significant others met us here at the 365 Ranch for an early birthday celebration for me. We had a wonderful time. The home was set up perfect for us. We had lots of room and loved the setting. It was beautiful. The only drawback is that we had to drive a lot to get to various places...such as Yellowstone...and town was a bit of a drive...but I was beginning to realize that Montana is a "lot of driving." When settled in at the Ranch everything was perfect. We did have a mosquito problem which seemed to be everywhere. But, all in all, for us to stay together under one roof in a beautiful location this was the perfect place. We stayed a week. The management also let us park our motor home on the property while we were there which was a great convenience for me.

Our stay at the 356 ranch more than exceeded our expectations. It was spotless and well maintained. It had all the amenities we needed. The beauty of the ranch and it's location is amazing. The staff at mountain homes was great to us and helped with anything that came up. I would highly recommend it to any one. Make sure you hire Kim, Suzy's husband to guide you in yellowstone, he made the experience wonderful for us

      God's Purple Mountain Majesty

Left on 08/17/2009 for a stay in July 2009

We were extremely pleased with the services that Mountain Homes gave us, from the website where we found the perfect place for our family, to sending us informations about the surrounding areas to site see in, to keeping in touch with us on a regular basis. It was also nice to contact them via email with any questions we had. The home that we stayed in was wonderful. When my family first came upon it, we all went WOW! Our son saw the sign with the 356 car in the rodeo on it, and had a big chuckle , since he has worked on that particular vehicle, and has an old one of those. The grounds that the home is on are absolutely spectacular. We were even greeted by a pair of Great Horned Owls that live on the far side of the garage by day. It was delightful. The decor of the house and the furnishings were very comfortable and great quality. The kitchen is extremely usable and people friendly. I particularly loved having extras in the kitchen like spices, a little coffee, mayo, etc. so that we didn't have to purchase large amounts of items, when we just needed a little. That was very nice!

The location of the ranch was perfect for all that we did. The guys went on a float trip out of Ennis, and it was just a short drive. The rest of the site seeing was much further than we had expected, but where we were, was between them all. We went to see the Gateway to the Rockies boat tour, Virginia & Nevada City, Yellowstone for two days (beautiful) and some local sites like the Museum of the Rockies, Norris Hot Springs, Bozeman Hot Springs, the Buffalo Jumps, and the town of Bozeman. All in all, we saw a lot for just a week, and will return to see more in the future.

The best thing that we liked, was asked to the whold family for your survey, and our son the fisherman, loves fishing in Montana. He has been their twice to fish. The rest of the family could not come up with just one or two things, and said that the whole experience was absolutely magnificant!

This was one of our best vacations, relaxing yet filled with plen

Left on 07/17/2009 for a stay in July 2009

WE arrived at the home and were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the area. The home was very clean and the kitchen had all the essentials and then some. The pond had just been stocked and there was a row boat that could also be used.
There were lots of activities nearby : hiking, rafting, and horseback riding.
Another benefit was the airport was just 10 minutes away.
We are already considering going back next year!

      More than a cabin

Left on 05/13/2009 for a stay in April 2008

The 356 Ranch was more than just a place for our family to stay. Other vacations have presented issues with our 2 teenage boys becoming bored and not wanting to participate with the family. Our one week stay was packed with things to do: fishing, hiking, fishing, cooking in the gorgeous kitchen, fishing and relaxing in the hot tub and sauna.
Our primary reason for coming to Montana was for our oldest son to check out Montana State University in Bozeman. We checked around for a place to stay for a couple of days, and ended up booking the cabin for a week vacation.
We found daily hikes along with many main rivers for the boys to fly fish, within minutes from the cabin. We filled a whole photo album of pictures to share. The scenery was breath-taking and we also enjoyed the deer, pheasants, geese and rabbits that came around daily.
The home was more than spacious for the four of us. It seemed as if they had thought of everything - from the warm living room to the wooden benches near the entries to sit while putting on boots, to the open counter in the kitchen for the entire family to prepare meals. The flooring was easy to keep clean and the rooms were very organized. We hope we will get the chance to visit the 356 Ranch or similar Mountain Home in the near future.

      Perfect for families & fun

Left on 05/06/2009 for a stay in August 2008

356 Ranch delivered on everything promised, and then some. We spent a week there last summer with our kids and grandkids, bringing together families from across the country. This vacation was a great way to 'lure' the whole family together for a week! The house itself was very comfortable; we rented the apartment above the garage, as well.

There were plenty of activities at the ranch itself to interest all ages, from fishing in the pond (catch & release) to the hot tub, to hiking, or just taking great walks or sitting on the porch at the end of the day enjoying the view.

The location is also very convenient for day trips to many great sites and activities in the area, so plan on venturing out while you're there, also.

We had absolutely no problems while we were there. Mountain Home prepared the home well and provided plenty of info for us ahead of time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this house, or others managed by Mountain Home, to anyone looking for a great Montana spot.
