What Past Guests Are Saying
A great place for family get Togethers
If you are looking for a great place to go to relax or for family get togethers, this is the place to stay. Its everything and more. It was very nice and clean. Would stay here again! Colleen is very nice and helpful!
Quiet, peaceful, perfect getaway!
I recently spent a week at the Blue Tin Roof Retreat while attending a workshop nearby. Four other ladies and I shared the beautifully comfortable home which was a perfect retreat for us. It was only about 3 minutes from beautiful downtown Bell Buckle and about 15 minutes from the workshop of Sherri Warner Hunter.
With 5 women, you'd think the bathrooms might get backed up with everyone getting ready but that wasn't the case. There is a large master bath with both a Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower plus double sinks. There's also a powder room downstairs and another full bath with tub/shower combo upstairs.
The kitchen is fully outfitted and there is a full-size washer/dryer set in the laundry room which helps cut down on packing.
Sleeping accommodations were a huge (tall) king bed in the downstairs master bedroom, a queen plus a queen sofa bed in one upstairs bedroom, a full plus 2 twins in the third bedroom. Add a twin bed in the wide hallway/landing upstairs and a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs sunroom and you can sleep up to 13 people!
Before our arrival, we received an email with all necessary info, including the code to let ourselves in.
All we had to bring was ourselves, our luggage, toiletries and food. The rest was ready and waiting for us. And the price was definitely rght!
Oh! And did I mention there's a creek running behind the house, a large treehouse for the kids or kids-at-heart, swings, benches, and a porch that stretches the length of the front of the house with plenty of seating to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I can't say enough about this wonderful retreat and the lovely little village of Bell Buckle where the residents are friendly and helpful. Don't miss eating at the Bell Buckle Cafe! The chicken and dumplings are a taste treat as was just about everything else on the menu.
Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Much more than we expected!
This Retreat was a real Treat! It was much more than the pictures indicate: a open floor plan with plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Peaceful surroundings; the only sounds were from the "locals"...chirps, mooos, neighs, gobbles. Very peaceful and relaxing; our 3 day get-away felt like a week long vacation.
Great place to getaway, sit on the porch and enjoy nature.
Great place to stay. House was beautiful, clean, well decorated, and in a wonderful, quite location. Close enough to Nashville to enjoy the city, and far enough out to sit on the porch and watch turkeys in the field almost every afternoon. Kids enjoyed the tree house, and the toys already in the house.
cold spring ky
wonderful country experience.
Beautiful house and furnishings. Comfortable beds. Everything you need except food and a chef. The adults wanted to play in the treehouse. There were 9 of us on motorcycles and the drive was nicely packed gravel and covered concrete parking in the back. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the moon pie and RV festival and would highly recommend this house. Colleen was so helpful and great to work with. Good job Colleen.

Great weekend get away
We meet up with family at the TN Ren Fest every year, and normally share 3 hotel rooms, which you can never get together and end up crowded in one room anyway. This sleep everyone, huge living area, huge kitchen, great backyard, and all for less than the hotel rooms and just as close. Of course we had to give up the noise and smell of the Interstate ?
Great Rental Experience
I had a June wedding and we needed a place close by for my out of town guests to stay. We rented the Blue tin house and the entire family was very pleased with their stay there. It was very clean and spacious! It is out in the country so is was a nice place for my guest to go to and relax awhile. There was plenty of room to park outside and to divide the sleeping quarters up into a comfortable stay for my guest. We would recommend this rental to anyone needing a place to stay in Bell Buckle or even for the Middle TN area.
