We have just been lucky enough to stay a week at il cortiletto in bellagio. Wow! What a truly beautiful and magical place..the apartment was perfect, the location fantastic and elisabetta and family were gorgeous! There was everything you could possibly need in the apartment, it was very reasonable and we loved having some lazy lunches and dinners on our own vine covered balcony! Truly the best apartment to enjoy Bellagio. The location is supreme, only a few steps from the lake. Spacious, comfortable beds, feels like home.
Elisabetta and Michele were also helpful to us and really made our trip to Bellagio out of this world. Bellagio itself is a paradise on earth. We absolutely enjoy every second of our stay in this apartment's little village.

Elizabetta and Michele were fantastic hosts. Michele met us at the ferry upon our arrival and escorted us to the apartment. He and "Betta" provided us with great information about what to see in Belaggio and the Lake Como area as well as their favorite restaurants for a cappuccino and pastry, a pizza or a nice restaurant with great food. The apartment was exactly like the pictures and as described. It was so charming and a great location only steps from everything - the ferry, lake como boat tours, shopping, restaurants.
There were several hotels to have chosen from, but, we decided to try an apartment. So very happy that we did. We felt less like tourists and more like a little part of the community.
Thank you Betta and Mickey. We really enjoyed our stay in your apartment. We will be back some day. Lake Como was so beautiful. -

I'm speechless! This beautiful lake and apartment made my year! I thought making arrangements for an apartment for a holiday was stressful, boy was I wrong! Elisabetta is an amazing landlady and so friendly! She helped us find the nicest restaurants and places to visit. What more could you want?! :) Two of my friends and I wanted a relaxing getaway in a beautiful place and we got exactly that. The apartment is so cosy, clean and only a few steps away from the lake. The lake view from the bedroom balcony was stunning. The local people are friendly, warm and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back :)

We spent a weekend at Il Cortiletto and would highly recommend this self equipped two bedroom apartment which can comfortably sleep up to 4 people. The kitchen has all cooking utensils one needs and the beds were lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and its the perfect apartment for ladies (loads of big mirrors!). This apartment is but a few steps from the lake front and centre of Bellagio. Elisabetta (landlady) was so gracious and helpful.

We all loved this apartment - the location was amazing, and 5 minutes from the ferry point, which made going around Lake Como really easy. Elisabetta and her family were really helpful, and we couldn't have enjoyed the stay more. The only point I'd flag is that the apartment is up stairs - par for the course in Bellagio but worth noting if you have anyone in the group who has walking difficulties.

My husband and I had visited Bellagio 10 years ago and stayed in a hotel on the waterfront. It was nice, but Il Cortiletto was a far superior choice in terms of providing an "immersion richness" to the experience. And the $ value - impossible to beat. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and in excellent working order. It just "feels good and cozy". The owner(s) are darling. Very warm, welcoming and totally oriented to making your stay a full one. Who needs alternative concierge resources? The courtyard element of this little jewel makes a fabulous hidden enclave for enjoying a romantic glass of wine pre-dinner or cup of coffee in the mornings, tucked away from public prying eyes, but with all the wonderful sounds of life from the local environs right there with you. Extremely close to the ferry and all the best restaurants. We'll be back just as soon as our pedestrian american life allows!

The apartment is large, clean and has a terrific central location, about 2 blocks from the ferry terminal and 1/2 block from the lake. There are numerous restaurants all around the apartment.
Elisabetta met us at the ferry, was on time (early actually), and very responsive and helpful. Her English is a+, so communication, both written and verbal, was seamless. She responded to all my emails immediately.
My family stayed there for several days, and would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to friends traveling in the area. A great experience! -

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved this vacation rental. The property was immaculate, perfectly located, and has an owner (Elisabetta) that takes pride in her property. The pictures of Il Cortiletto can’t fully describe the vacation experience you will have in Bellagio if you stay here. The location is superb. The apartment is literally right in the middle of Bellagio yet when you walk up the cobble stone steps leading to the entrance of Il Cortiletto you find yourself entering a beautiful peaceful courtyard that makes you feel at home. We like to enjoy a quite cup of coffee in the morning and the courtyard is perfect place to begin your day. The apartment is furnished with everything you may need. When staying at a vacation rental there is often lingering concerns in the back of your mind about the property. Is it really like it’s represented? You need not worry about Il Cortiletto. Elilsabetta is a super host and is committed to providing her guests with a wonderful stay. I really can’t say enough about her apartment. Would we come back? Yes! In a heartbeat. Will we come back? I sure hope so. This trip we spent almost a month traveling through Normandy, Burgundy and Northern Italy. My only regret we didn’t plan on staying here longer.

Il Cortiletto is a wonderful apartment and it was perfect for our family. It is central but private and very spacious. The apartment was immaculate and it was nice to have the additional patio space. It is a very characteristic Italian home nestled in the heart of Bellagio.
Elisabetta was wonderful, meeting us at the Ferry, showing us to the apartment and showing us the best places to see and eat. It felt like if there were any problems, we could easily call her and she would be there in an instant.
We loved our stay in Bellagio, thanks to Il Cortiletto.
