DUPLEX APARTMENT in Torrequebrada just 3 minutes' walk to the beach.

This modern duplex apartment is ideally located just a couple of minutes' walk from the beach, and with bars, restaurants and a supermarket right nearby.

The apartment itself has south-west orientation and views to the sea. There is lift access and it is wheelchair friendly as there is ramped access to the swimming pool and patio areas. There is a security entryphone system in the entrance hall.

The lower section of the apartment comprises of a lounge with flat screen television and patio doors leading out to a balcony. The kitchen is well equipped with... electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer set in a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktop. There is a serving hatch through to the lounge and dining area.

The bedroom on this floor has a single bed and patio doors also leading out to the balcony. There is a guest bathroom with full bath facilities.

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, one with single beds and patio doors leading out to a private balcony with excellent sea view over to the bay of Fuengirola. The third bedroom has a double bed, television, and a private balcony with sea and mountain views.

The two top floor bedrooms share a family bathroom.

The apartment enjoys both excellent views and outside space from all rooms, and the property boasts ducted hot/cold air-conditioning throughout.

Outside there is a large central courtyard with a swimming pool, terraces, and a children's play area.

Transport:

* EasyJet or RyanAir offer cheap flights from most UK airports into Malaga.

* You can take a Taxi at Malaga airport to Arroyo de la Miel, but it can be a little expensive.

* You can take a train from the Airport to Benalmádena. An then a taxi from the train station to the apartment will cost between 8 and 10 Euros.

* Car rental at Malaga airport may be a nice and cheap option. At (website: hidden) you can rent a car from just 160 € a week.

Arroyo de la Miel is a perfect place to stay for your holidays on the Costa del Sol. Arroyo itself is a bustling town, with a very pretty town centre where you can enjoy the shops, bars and restaurants. Puerto Marina - recently voted the best Marina in Europe has a superb night life with its discos and bars. Why not treat yourself to a boat trip - choose from a traditional Chinese boat, a Dolphin trip, or deep sea fishing, or just catch the Ferry to Fuengirola.

In Arroyo, the major attractions are Tivoli World Amusement Park, the Cable Car, the super La Paloma Park with its artificial lake and fountain, Selwo Marina with its dolphin show, and of course Sea World close by.

You will also find the prestigious Torrequebrada golf course nearby, and of course don't forget the beaches.

The Costa Del Sol has visitors of more than two million people a year who arrive at Malaga international airport and head to one of the many resorts located along this part of the coastline.

One of Europe's main holiday destinations -- with the Costa del Sol weather giving average yearly temperatures of 18ºC and over 300 days of sunshine per year!

There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which can be played all year round as well as a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, dolphin safaris, etc. The list is endless.

Away from the coast there are plenty of excursions into the real Spain with the cities of Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Granada all available for day tours. For the more adventurous you can also take a 15km trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to visit Tangier in Morocco.

  Me and my 4 friends have spent two weeks in this penthous apartment in Benalmadena Costa this august. The apartment is equipped exactly as it is stated in the advertisement, and which is quite enough to make your stay enjoyable and easier. The rooms are spacious and bright enough, two bathrooms are big enough… three large terraces provide both, See and Mountain View, and you can even smell the see while sitting on the terrace. Excellent “blue flag” beach is a few minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is located in a quiet area close to a large supermarket and several restaurants where you can dine. This area is completely different from the rest of surrounding coast that can be overcrowded. We had access to a closed garage in the building, so we did not worry about the car that we rented.
  Benalmadena itself has an excellent position, close to the airport, close to Malaga and Marbella, with excellent highways one can easily reach any city of andalusia. This allowed us to travel around the entire andalusia.
  Agreements on the property renting with “Mijas Rentals” and Mrs. Joanne Hutchison Smith were simple and easy, in the “good professional practice” manner.
