Our cabin is located in Northeastren Pennsylvania, and borders
Ricketts Glen State Park on 20 private acres. This state park offers beautiful
views year round. Whether you would like to hike the 22 waterfall
trails, rent a kayak on Lake Jean or curl up with a good book on the sandy beach of the lake, we have the peace and quiet you have been dreaming about! There is also excellent mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, trail running, and hunting. If you are not familiar with area we also have guides for these activities at a reasonable price.

This place was totally awesome for us. Jeff was so easy to work with, there was never any kind of issue. My mouth just dropped from the moment we pulled into the driveway and walked thru the door, it was better than i ever expected. Everything was excellent!!!. The amentiies were awesome!!!. A TV and DVD player w/ movies was such a nice surprize. It was a nice family time laughing watching the movies in the evening together. The washer and dryer was awesome. Full bath and kitchen with cooking and eating utensils and plates, everything you need is there. The wrap around porch looking into the woods was a excellent place to relax and think. God's blessing is surely on that property and with that home. We had an awesome vacation there and would definatley like to go back again someday. The cabin was right next to the falls trails and that was awesome too. We had a super time and would recommend it to anyone :)

With my sister and four boys in tow, we rented this charming cabin over spring break. What a fantastic time we had! The boys loved running and playing in the woods behind the house. The fire pit was perfect for the cool spring weather and the location to the entrance to Rickett's was perfect. Less than 3 minutes away! We had a great time and the boys keep asking when we can go back.

We had a great time staying in the cabin. The interior was clean. I didn't feel like I was afraid to touch anything like I have been in some hotels. Everything worked. There were no problems with lights, outlets or appliances. The heat worked well. The cabin is extremely close to the park. You can eat in the cabin but if you get bored of that there are lots of places to eat in the area including a hotel that serves great food right across the street from the cabin. The cabin is about 100 yards back from the road so you have some seclusion but close enough for you to get out and sight see. What I liked best is that the owner takes extra good care of the place. What i liked least is the stairs. This not a problem if you get around alright but if you have young children the steps are very steep and you might need to help them up and down.

We both love the outdoors, whatever season. We were looking for a nice weekend stay in a cozy cabin with our dogs and we found it. We can't wait to rent it again, and this time bring some friends and families to experience it with us. It was warm and welcoming, clean and had everything we needed and then some. Both of us (and the dogs) enjoyed snowshoeing at Ricketts Glen. Perfect weekend, perfect place.

Our trip to the cabin at Rickett's Glen was wonderful. It was the perfect place for our family to relax and get away from our daily routine. The cabin is clean, well equipped and very private, yet not far from a great local restaurant and a small,country convenience store. We loved hiking the falls and then having a campfire in the evening back at the cabin. The size of the cabin was great for our family of four. More than five may be slighlty crowded.

My husband and I rented this little cabin for the weekend to hike at Rickett's Glen. We had a great time and were able to bring our dog along with us (which was a must since it was a hiking trip). The cabin was perfect for us, and we are hoping to come back and rent it again in a couple years. The place was just as we expected. It is sort of close to the road, but you can't see it from the cabin but you can hear the traffic. It's so close to Rickett's Glen, which is such a beautiful park. A nice firepit was out back that was nice to sit and relax in the evenings after hiking all day.

The cabin is secluded in a quite, peaceful area but is still conveniently located near restaurants and a country store. The cabin is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful state park nearby with great fishing, recreation, etc. I am looking forward to returning there next year.
