This spacious apartment is without a doubt the jewel of our Metzer Str building with views from the balcony over the roofs of Berlin. This apartment has two bedrooms, each with two single beds which easily attach into a double bed as well a double sofa bed in the living room with a fully furnished American style open kitchen. The apartments come equipped with a flatscreen TV, wireless Internet as well as a bathroom with bathtub.

Additional Location Information

Our newest apartment building is located directly on the corner of Metzer Strasse and Strassburger Strasse in Prenzlauer Berg, currently the hippest Berliner district. The area around the water tower and Kollwitzplatz are perfect for walks through the numerous small streets with their small shops, boutiques and galleries. Afterwards, you can enjoy yourself in one of the many nearby cafes and restaurants.

Also easily reached are Alexanderplatz and the television tower, as well as the classical Berlin boulevard ‘Unter den Linden’ with Museum Island and the Brandenburger Tor.

The entire house was lovingly renovated and details such as the French-doors and original hardwood floors were painstakingly restored. The apartments have been newly furnished and have a modern kitchen and bathroom with a bathtub. There are single beds in the bedrooms which can be easily converted to double beds upon request. A flat screen television and free wireless internet (WLAN) are in each of the apartments. The building has an elevator to bring you comfortably to your apartment. Towels and bed linens are provided at no cost.

  Used this apartment as a base when visiting Berlin just before Christmas for a 3 day trip. Great apartment; very spacious, well kitted out with kitchen appliances (inc a kettle, toaster, coffee filter and microwave), a nice touch was coffee and tea already in the apartment.
  
  The 2 bed rooms were very large and had comfortable beds; the main room had a couch which converted into a sofa bed, so you could easily sleep 6 people there without feeling crowded. There was also a small balcony which would be good to sit out on in warmer weather!
  
  The bathroom was clean and the shower worked very well. The apartment is on the 5th floor, but there is a lift and security was good. The aprtment was warm and you can control the heating yourself.
  
  There was free wi-fi which worked very well.
  
  The OTa office is in the same apartment block and the staff there were welcoming and helpful. We arrived early and the staff arranged for us to use the apartment before the official check-in in time.
  
  There is a good organic cafe/supermarket a couple of minutes away (good goulash!) and another supermarket just around the corner. Also the U-bahn station Senefelderplatz (U2 line) is 2 minutes walk away and it's just 2 stops to alexanderplatz.
  
  Looking forward to staying here again (hopefully in summer 2012).
