The apartment is situated in a very calm area around 500m away from the pulsating heart of Berlin at the famous Alexanderplatz. Metrostation Straúsberger Platz (Line U5) is direct in front of the house.
The apartment is located in one of the historic and monumental “Stalinbauten†(UNESCO World Cultural Heritage) and is the most popular boulevard of East Berlin Karl-Marx-Allee. You live in the center of Berlin with a perfect connection of metro, taxi and trainstations. The apartment is in the third floor of a very quiet house. Of course there is an elevator.

The lady that introduced us to the apartment was very helpful.
The apartment was perfectly clean and had all that was needed to make our stay confortable
The location was perfect, for the Ubahn was just in front of our doorway and it made it easy to get around. -

My friend and I stayed here over Christmas looking for a homely place, and thats exactly what what we got! Spacious, clean, washing machine included and really close to the metro. The owners were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely book this place again.

We had a great five-night visit in this apartment. Anne and Jozef (the persons who welcomes us) were absolutely friendly and helpful.
The apartement isan excellent home base for exploring Berlin. The place was a perfect and spacious set-up for a family of three. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets in the area around. We hope to return again some day to enjoy Berlin and the lovely apartment.

Together with my wife and 14 year old girl we had a pleasent stay between 15-22.7 arriving by car.
Arriving at a Sunday afternoon we had a friendly and timely welcome.
The apartment is bright and pleasant with high ceiling which give a feeling of being spacious. The apartment was clean and functional (Ikea all the way), however the mattresses could benefit an upgrade. The second bed was a convertible in the lounge.
A couple of comfy chairs in the lounge would also have been appreciated.
Nearby free parking were truly appreciated.
Local grocery/restaurants are closeby, but closed on sundays.
The apartment was a great experience that made our stay in Berlin feel like home. -

My wife, mother, father, and I recently stayed at this apartment right off the U5 line that we absolutely loved. It had plenty of space for the four of us and the service was very accommodating. My parents kept going on about how much better it was than just a hotel room, and we enjoyed the luxury of cooking in the kitchen after buying groceries at a nearby store. The only thing that people staying here should know is the oven and stove is a bit older and needs to be manually lit with a match after starting the gas (something I probably would not have figured out if my parents had not been there, although I'm sure the owner would have helped us if we had asked).
Overall the apartment was a fantastic experience that made our stay in Berlin feel a little more like home. -

Excellent, friendly welcome. The apartment is bright and pleasant ,set in the most impressive Stalinist era blocks on Karl Marx aller. The area combines iconic Stalinist architecture with good local shopping and a peaceful and safe environment. The u-bahn is just yards from the front door and you can be in the centre of Berlin in a very short time. The apartment was clean and functional and served myself, wife and 23 year old daughter very well. The only negatives were that there was not a microwave, even though it was in the description. Crockery and cutlery was just sufficient for 3 - but would not be adequate for 4.The second bed was a convertible in the lounge - adequate for one, but would have not been good for 2.

From start to finish we had a brilliant time. We stayed in the one bed with sofa bed and still had plenty room and comfort. Everything you needed was there for a pleasant stay. Situated in a quiet road 5 mins from the trains, buses and Trams. Three stops to the centre of town.
There are plenty shops situated near the apartment with cafes, bakeries and a supermarket.
The area of the apartment is extremely important historically as the wall was situated at the end of the road and I would strongly recommend the underground Berlin tours. There is a huge flea market 10 mins walk on a Sunday and the most wonderful restaurants situated opposite the stadium, also 10/15 mins walk.
A brilliant way to see a City and having the apartment made the visit easier and comfortable. Thank you. -

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a short city break - it's over on the eastern side of the city so quite quiet and residential, but there's a metro station right at the front door so it's only 10 minutes from all the sights of the city. Even better, it's only 5 mins walk from a supermarket, so food and drink can be picked up without paying crazy tourist prices.
Nice clean apartment, simply furnished but everything was tidy and in good condition.
If I had to pick on something, you could hear the neighbours above getting up in the morning, but you get that even in a posh hotel, so not much of a downside!
Best bit was definitely the bakery at the entrance to the apartment. -

Das apartment entsprach ganz der Beschreibung: modern eingerichtet, gro? und trotzdem sehr pers?nlich (die alte Schreibmaschine und die Figuren setzen wunderbare akzente). Mit der U-Bahn vor der Haust?r erreicht man alle Sehensw?rdigkeiten ganz schnell. Buchung und Check in waren ebenfalls sehr gut.

It was a very hot July summer weather while we were there. The apartment could have definitely used a small fan for the bedroom and one for the living area. We tried to find fans to buy nearby and while sightseeing but could not find any. Otherwise,the apartment was great. There is a metro station directly in front of the building which was incredibly convenient and the apartment was very nicely furnished.
