This is a newly reconstructed loft apartment in the roof of a historical company building located in Tiergarten in the district Mitte in the city centre of Berlin, not far away from the Parliament building and Ministry of State. The building is situated in a quiet green court yard. In the late 60's this building got a lot of publicity because the people of the so called “Kommune 1” who revolted against the establishment stayed in this building. The “Kommune 1” stands for the liberation of sex much like the Hippy movement in the United States. The apartment is located in the North of the Tiergarten Park in the city centre, close to the inner city airport Tegel and the political city centre around the Reichstag building. There are very good public traffic connections and short distances to the historical and cultural city centre.

Diese wunderbare Loft-Wohnung hat uns wirklich in allen Belangen begeistert: sehr sauber, originell und mit Stil eingerichtet, grosszügig,in der Küche ist alles vorhanden zum Selberkochen,Besitzer sehr freundlich, gute Fahrräder können direkt beim Vermieter für EUR 7.00/Tag gemietet werden -- super. Wir können diese Wohung wirklich bestens weiterempfehlen. Preis/Leistung 1a. Wenn wir wieder einmal in Berlin sind, dann sicher wiede in einer Wohnung von BerlinLofts. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

...with a friendly lessor contact, excellent cleanless and very good comfort. Only the livingr-room sofa is uncomfortable to sleep in pairs. The distance to city (Main-Station, Brandenburger Tor etc.) is approximetely 4-5 km.

We booked the apartment for our honeymoon and were suitably impressed with all aspects of the experience with Berlin Lofts. From the ease of booking, to the process of checking in and feeling well looked after by the owner, Stephan. There was plenty of information regarding getting out and about. The loft was clean, modern, spacious and light, well heated and a lovely place to come home to after a long day out seeing Berlin.

This is a fantastic flat! The host was most attentive.It is beautifully decorated and furnishes, with all the amenties you could want. We stayed with family to celebrate our son's 21st, and had a brilliant time. Berlin is a wonderful city to visit, there is so much to do.This was our second time, and it won't be our last.

We had a really great stay here in the attic lofts. The apartment is spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more.
It is a very well designed and quirky apartment - plenty of space yet not at all cold for a visit in the middle of winter.
The only one tiny thing that was somewhat irritating is the noise created from walking on the beautiful polished wood floors. Any one waking during the night to use the bathroom can be heard making their way there across the floor. Other than that it was an extremely pleasant stay. Would go back there and recommend to friends. -

The loft is really nice and lovely, clean and confortable.
Optimal for two families with little children.
The situation is not bad if you are patient to wait for the bus, the only transport at a reasonable distance.
You will find a laptop with Internet connection, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The family is charming, specially the mother, and they will help you everytime you need. Unfortunately we cannot say the same about the guy in charge of maintenence (Mr. G.).

We loved our loft for its spacious, modern convenience. The hosts were gracious and most helpful. It was immaculate and styleful. A few stairs to negotiate but good public transportation location to all the sites in Berlin. Most highly recommended.
