We were in town for Marathon weekend and the location was within walking distance to all our activities and to the bus station for when we wanted to explore further away. The apartment is ideal for two people and there were three in our party. Our host did warn us of this in advance and we were OK with it. It was clean and comfortable and great value for the money compared to local hotels.

The apartment was nice and well equiped. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The bus terminal is 25 minutes from the apartment and 30 minutes to Front Street. The bedroom faces the street and sometimes traffic can be noisy at night, as well as the owners dogs barking at night. Not for a light sleeper.

Sorry you stay was not as enjoyable as our other past guest. Hopefully if you do return to Bermuda you'll enjoy your stay a little better either at our property or somewhere else.
Also I'm not sure if you got lost on your way to the bus terminal but it typical take 15 minutes and about another 5 minutes to walk to Front Street from the bus terminal; and that's if your taking a slow stroll. The traffic is beyond our control but as for the dogs barking that's probably due to them having there nightly run around outside.
I wished you would have mention this while you was there so we could have made your stay as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. -

The apartment looked and offered what the website says. It was clean, new and well suited for our needs. My husband & I walked to the bottom of the hill for the bus stops, or continued on the the fully side-walked road into Hamilton. The owners were very accommodating, and even took us into town for an introductory tour and grocery shopping. You can walk up the the North shore and find great places to snorkel and swim (not beaches). We really enjoyed our visit, and if we returned we would definitely stay here again, mainly because we loved meeting the gracious hosts!

Beautiful apartment just a few minutes from the center of Hamilton.
We received a warm welcome by the owner, "Bee", which not only honored us with a basket of fruit, wine and sweets, has proved to be always polite and helpful in making our stay as pleasant as possible.

Arrived on September 6 two days before hurricane Leslie was to hit the island, luckily it was just alot of rain and wind, not a full hurricane. It was one of the most relaxing vacations that I have ever taken. The apartment was very clean almost everything you could want was included. There were plenty of wash cloths and towels and an extra set of sheets. If you want to take clean clothes home there is a washer and dryer available for you to use. There is a grocery store jut down the hill, it's a very quiet neighbourhood.
The owners live next door but you would even know it, they were great. Mr. buttrtfield met me the day I arrived to hand over the keys.
It was like our home away from home, will definitley rent there again.

We enjoyed an affordable family vacation Bermudian-style in this comfortable apartment with all the modern amenities we desired. The Butterfields live on property and were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating and even gave us a nice welcome package and a thoughtful departing gift. We were walking distance to Hamilton but in a quiet, residential, traffic-calmed neighborhood. We told our local native Bermudian friends how much we paid per night and they all said: "That's good!" Staying in this apartment gave us the feeling of "living" in Bermuda for a week vs. visiting as tourists. We enjoyed the privacy of not having housekeeping knocking or memos slid under our door. We received a friendly greeting and got our keys when we arrived and simply locked the keys inside the apartment when we left, which gave our stay a more private and personal appeal than hotel stays. Butterfield's is the way to go!
