Check-in very easy. We notified the rental office the day of arrival that we would be late for check-in so accomadations were made quickly and easily for key pickup.
Great location at the end of a deadend street. An easy walk to the beach and did not have to cross a major highway to get to the beach.
We enjoyed the screened in porch especially on rainy days. Also, liked the open kitchen/dining/living room area since my spouse, I, three adult daughters and families shared the area. Great for family togetherness. -

Rental was just as advertised. 2.5 short blocks to the beach, peaceful isolated road, 3 bedrooms.
Liked location- easy walk to town and beach. House was well maintained and comfortable. Great value.
Disliked - Rip in couch, we called to report and office said that they knew and would fix after the season. 3rd bedroom was cramped with 2 bunk beds. -

The house was clean living room furniture in poor condition with tear we had to cover with extra sheets.Kitchen poorly stocked no glass glasses plastic only,no serving dishes etc. Multiple light bulbs burned out and not replaced.(was reported) Nice layout for family in kitchen and living room. Beds comfortable Bath's were very clean and in good condition.

Had a great time in Bethany Beach. House has a great location, could walk to town, beach, stores etc. House was perfect, however beds were extremely uncomfortable and the couch had a tear in it. Only suggestion would be to change master bedroom to a king size bed and replace other mattresses.

Very nice house with screened-in porch that provided extra room for kids to spread out. Easy walk to the beach and town. Many trees on the property added wonderful shade and cooling.

Ants were a big problem in the kitchen. Very steep staircase to enter. Not a lot of towel rack space in bathrooms. Great location for walking to Garfield Pkway or to beach

This was our families first trip to the beach & first time renting a house. I chose this house because of the number of people it slept & it's location to the beach, I researched the area & wanted a house on the beach side of the Coastal Hwy.
I am sure we are not the first family that rented this house, that is way I do not understand that no one else cared to mention that is sleeps 8 bodies, but only seats 6 at the dinner table & also only 6 seats on the screened in porch table. We only had 7 max. staying & had to bring in a plastic chair in from the screened in porch for every meal. Same with the bowls in the cabinet, plenty of plates, but only 5-6 cereal bowls...had to hand wash one every morning after the first person ate breakfast.
The deck & screened in porch need TLC as well as some of the outlet covers are missing screws, so they fall right off exposing the inner workings of a non-GFCI outlet in the master bathroom.
Almost done...the ANTS...everywhere!!! The ladies at Wilgus told me that everyone has them at the beach, it's a common problem. The problem is...I hate bugs & did not want to bring them home with me in all the stuff I packed!!! My experience with Wilgus was less than great...I think they are closed on Sundays on purpose. You can only check in after 3 pm & then they close at 5pm on Saturdays. So we checked in at 4:30 & by the time we unpacked the van & checked over the place & discovered that the high speed internet listed in the amenities didn't work it was 5:10 & they were closed. Long story short...it didn't get fixed until Thurs. & no one at Wilgus told us during many phone conversations that the cable company did not need us to wait at the house for them, they know to go to the reality company & get a key for the rental property. We found this out at check out!!! Now a days customer service is PRIORITY cause reviews like this go on the internet for everyone to read.
