very easy to check in, house was easy to find, not to far away from the beach, the rooms were all nice in size, one of the only things that was a problem for us was the bottom portion of the driveway cause of the power box and trees all in all we had a great stay and would go back there again.

Lebanon, PAToo good to be true? Not this one!!
Left on 08/08/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our extended family spent a wonderful week @ Salt Pond. The owners have thought of practically everything to make our stay enjoyable regardless of age. Crib, toys, swing was enjoyed by our 6mo. old grandson. Pool table kept competition active for our grown sons and my husband. Games were enjoyed each evening. Screened in porch was awesome. I don't think there wasn't anything missing from the kitchen. Beautiful! Well worth the cost :)

The home was well furnished and very clean. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The street was quiet and was close to the beach (about a mile). It was also nice having a parking permit.

Odenton, MDGreat Bethany Beach Rental
Left on 09/04/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This is our second year in Bethany and we loved this rental! We were a group of six adults with four children under 6 years old. It's clear the owners maintain the home well for themselves and their renters. It has a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of toys to help keep little ones entertained. We ate most of our meals outside in the beautiful screened in porch. We loved the extras throughout the house (e.g. pool table, beach cart, chairs, cooler bags, games, etc.). The stereo system has wireless speakers throughout (kitchen, bathroom, outside, etc.) which was great! This is located one block off of Rt 1; easy access to the boardwalk and 26. It's on a quiet dead end with access to canal if you like to kayak. The only drawback was that we didn't get the security code for the Wifi, but we had ethernet.

The home was nice. We had an issue with the outlets in the kitchen not working. The breaker flipped and did not reset. A third full bathroom would be beneficial for groups larger than 8. The kitchen did not have enough plates etc. for the number of people the home accomodates. We did enjoy the screened in deck and the music outside at night. Nice bonus. The upstairs master bedroon has an extra room that should be the third full bathroom.

Three generations
Boston and PhiladelphiaGreat place but light bulbs needed
Left on 08/01/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This is a spacious, comfortable and very nicely decorated home with all of the necessities and several nice extras. It is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and grocery shopping (new Harris Teeter). The 2 master bedroom suites were great for our extended family (3 generations). Unanticipated extras included the first floor master bathroom (not pictured) which is very large with 2 sinks, a large jacuzzi tub (spa not operative) and a separate glass enclosed stall shower with steam option. The bath area also includes a large walk-in closet and a door opening onto the back deck. There's a private, enclosed deck off the first floor master bedroom. Also, there's a small room opening off the upstairs master bedroom with a full size crib which was great for our 2-year old grandson and his parents. Our grandson loved the swing on the screened porch. Our only complaints were burned out light bulbs and a musty smell from being closed up. The house had not been rented the previous week and the weather had been very hot and humid; however, the aC was off rather than set at 75 as we were instructed to do upon leaving. While the house cooled off quickly, the smell perisisted for the first two or three days we were there. The burned out light bulbs--in living room (too high to reach), over the pool table (tricky to reach without climbing on pool table) and in the master bath shower stall (under a screwed on cover) were not easily accessible and the areas affected were thus dark and less inviting than they would have been with proper lighting. I would report this to the rental agency immediately on a future booking so they could address it early in your stay.

North Bethesda, MarylandFamily Beach Vacation Fun
Left on 08/23/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Our family had a lovely vacation at Bethany Beach; largely due to the wonderful accommodations of 412 Salt Pond Road. We all got together every night and dined on the porch to compare daily stories and share our day. The big-screened TV in the family room offered plenty of space for us to spread out and watch movies together. Red-box rentals at the Giant made it easy! The pool table was a great hit and the master bath was incredible. There is a wonderful room off the large bedroom that holds a full-sized crib. This was a life saver for our little one. A great home for children, seniors and all those in-between.
