Tranquility is yours with this three-bedroom townhouse set in a quiet location. The beach is just four blocks away for all you beach bums and surfers.
You may bring along a dog; additional dog fees are required (no cats are allowed). The designated chef will appreciate the kitchen's full stock of appliances, cookware, and utensils. There's even a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Stay comfortable by adjusting the central air conditioning appropriately, and lying out on the deck.
Enhance your vacation pleasure by walking along the boardwalk, stopping by the farmers' market, and seeing a performance at the bandstand.

This place was much more then we expected it to be. It was a short walk to the beach, had all the comforts of home and was a awesome deal. The dogs were comfortable and so were we. We will be returning next year for an awesome week at the Beach. Thanks Wilgus!!

Bethany Beach - pet unfriendly

Have enjoyed vacationing in Bethany for more than 30 years, but this summer's trip was not as pleasant. Bethany has become very dog unfriendly. Even though I am a very considerate dog owner and paid extra to rent a place that allows pets, I got yelled at by the caretaker at the library for walking my dog in the field behind the library even though no signs were posted prohibiting dogs. Also got yelled at and threatened by a woman for taking my dog in the grassy common area of the complex - again no signs prohibiting dogs. Dogs are not allowed at all on beach or boardwalk. Wilgus was great to work with...very friendly and efficient - just think that people need to know that it would be better to leave the pet at home if you're staying in Bethany Beach or else risk an unpleasant vacation.

We were very pleased with this property! Had plenty of the "comforts of home." We loved being able to bring our dog with us. The community pool also was well-maintained. It was a tad farther from the beach than we had hoped, but overall, we were happy!

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this property was, since it was available on short notice in high season. It is a great place to stay with young kids. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of space, and a nicely appointed kitchen and washer/dryer. The only drawback is the distance from the beach (four long blocks -- can't do it with kids as young as ours), but we are early risers and always found a parking space in beach block. (Free parking in some areas with the provided parking permit.) Overall, it was a good value for the time of year and location.

Very clean, pet friendly, very well kept pool, everyone around very nice. A little farther from the beach than I would have liked to stay...but very scenic walk.

Our family of 2 adults, a 12 and 17 yr old and dogs enjoyed our stay at this comfortable townhouse, a 5 block (15 min) walk to a very clean beach. Close to boardwalk and shops. It has a complete kitchen, washer, dryer, outdoor shower, well-kept swimming pool, games and ample areas to walk the dogs. Owner is clearly a fan of opera with many CDs and books available. A lot to see in the area, Life-Saving Station, Ward Decoy Museum, etc. as well as tax-free shopping outlets.
If I had to mention a negative it would be that the sea-green carpeting could have used a cleaning. Although I am sure it had been spot treated since there was absolutly no pet smells, there was evidence of previous furry residents. Overall we had a great time and would rent again. -

Was nice to have a house that a dog lives in. While our dogs are house trained and well behaved, it was still a plus to have a house that has owners who understand the idea of dog ownership. I felt completely relaxed having my dogs in this house and would recommend it to any dog owners.
