Vacation Rental homes and cabins in and around Historic Bethel Villge and Sunday River Ski Area in the Western Lakes and Mountains of Maine. We offer a 3 bedroom lake home and vacation rental cabins on area lakes and streams. We own and manage our own properties allowing for a care free vacation experience and meticulously clean properties. We also an eco-fiendly bed and breakfast in Bethel Village so we are always close by should you require information or assistance. All listed ammenities are for the Lake House. There are pictures of our other properties. Please call or e-mail for available dates.

The Lake House is located on a very private 1 acre peninsula on North Pond, only a short drive to Bethel and Sunday River Ski Resort., Conservation marshes on both sides of the property provide excellent wildlife viewing icluding our resident bald eagle and ensure a peaceful stay. The home is completely remodeled with tile and hardwood floors, granite counter tops, contemporary furnishings and a chef's kitchen. Enjoy the upper mahogany covered porch, the patio below or the large yard leading to the water and a wonderful sandy swimming area.
Our other cottages and homes are located on area ponds and streams very close to Bethel.

My husband and I loved staying here. It was secluded and the sound of the stream lulled us to sleep each night. There are a lot of fun activities to do in the area - we swam in the Sunday River and canoed the Androscoggin. Scott and Carol were gracious hosts.

My wife, our adult son and I stayed at The Riverhouse in Hanover,ME for six nights. This is a very comfortable and clean place to stay. There is a running stream nearby which added greatly to the spot. The cottage is a bit secluded which makes it a nice spot away from a lot of traffic and noise. It is also located near the Androscoggin River, which we enjoyed canoeing on and near Grafton Notch State Park where we enjoyed hiking up Old Speck. This hike makes use of the famous Appalachian Trail for part of the beautiful hike. We highly recommend this cottage as well as the hospitality of Scott and Carol Gould when we stayed in their bed and breakfast in Bethel, ME for one night at the end of our stay.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin on Concord Pond. The kids did not want to leave and are already asking if we can go back next year. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee on the screened porch overlooking the beautiful pond. It was so peaceful. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and just spend some quality time together as a family.

This was our second time renting from Scott and Carol at Androscoggin Home Rentals and they delivered what we needed for a enjoyable vacation stay; a very clean, well stocked house, with all the amenities once could want. This time we rented the Village House in town Bethel which was REALLY convenienent for walking to everything. Previously we had rented the River House in nearby Newry which was more secluded and very shady with all the trees. Howard Pond is just up the road for a refreshing swim. We would rent from them again on next Bethel vacation.

We have been renting this cabin for either 1 or 2 weeks per year for several years now and absolutely love it! I can feel the stress of every day living just melt off of me when we pull into the driveway. Everything hectic in our lives comes to a complete stop when we get there. The cabin is immaculate and full of charm. The lake is quiet and not very inhabited.This last stay was a bit rainy but we got to see a spectacular double rainbow over the mountains and ending near the island in the lake. I also caught a 2lb bass!
Excellent vacation place for couples and families to reconnect and have a quality vacation.
