Hello traveler! Looking for a cosy and elegant base to relax and explore the beautiful landscapes, tastes and cultural heritage of Umbria - the region nicknamed "The Green Heart of Italy"? We're glad you found this page, and ready to welcome you!
"Casa Foresti" is a 4-rooms, 120sq/m apartment with garden inside a 14th century building (renovated in 2009); it's located in the historic centre of Bettona, a lovely medieval village resting on top of a green hill coated in olive groves. Finely furnished and decorated, equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine and (we hope!) everything you might find in your house, it's just the perfect plac...e for your stay, offering you...
relax in the typical barrel-valuted living room;
fun while trying your cooking skills with real italian food in the lovely kitchen;
a beautiful dining room with wide windows overlooking the ancient etruscan walls
and a small terrace on the walls for an aperitivo while admiring the sunset on the hills.
Our comfortable holiday house, with room for up to 5 people, is the ideal option for a pleasant stay in Umbria, ensuring you moments of rest and relax between visits to the precious historic and cultural jewels of which Umbria is rich, either in the well-known cities like Assisi and Perugia and the “minor” centres to discover.
On top of this, we - the Foresti family - really enjoy to get to know a little our guests by offering something to make their stay unique.
If we have time and if you wish to, we'll be glad to show you around some hidden spots in the local area, have you over for dinner or take you to a local winery, cheesemaker, restaurant or cultural event - obviously free of charge! My son Francesco speaks very good English and my wife Anna is available if you'd like to get some Italian cooking lessons. We'll do our best to make you feel really at home - of course without being invasive - so feel free to ask us about interesting destinations nearby, as well as restaurants or other local attractions!

5 km from Torgiano, renown worldwide for its precious wines;
10 km from Deruta, famous for its ceramics;
17 km from Bevagna, the town that turns medieval for the whole month of June;
20 km from Perugia, largest city in the region (named World's Sexiest Small City by National Geographic - aren't you curious to find out by yourself...?)
22 km from Spello, 24 km from Montefalco, 26 km from Foligno, 33 km from Todi, each one a different medieval pearl to explore;
and 45 km from the shores of Trasimeno Lake and its wonderful tiny islands.
In one hour of travel by car it’s possible to reach every resort in Umbria. If you're up for longer travels, Siena, Firenze and Roma are all within two hours.
