Maes Madog Farm Cottages, the perfect place to be if you are looking for a break in Snowdonia, North Wales, UK.
Maes Madog Cottages are four self catering cottages: One 6-persons, 2 double and 1 twin bedroom, family bathroom downstairs and toilet and wash basin upstairs. One 4 persons 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, 1 twin bedroom with en suite bathroom. Two 2-persons each having 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom.. The cottages are lovingly converted from 17th century farm buildings into traditional country cottages, with stone walls and oak beams; each cottage is individual and charismatic.

We are situated 1½ miles away from the beautiful Betws-y-Coed which has been popular since Victorian times with its three rivers all flowing and joining as one, as well as its amazing scenery and small shops and restaurants.
Set in Snowdonia National Park, you have so many things you could do including hill walking, bird watching, climbing, golf, pony trekking, watersports, fishing, train trips, mountain biking or you could just relax.
Mount Snowdon is only 10 miles away, Anglesey, Caernarfon and Llandudno are all within 20 miles. Golf course less than 2 miles away we have golf clubs if you can't bring your own, why not practise your golf on our fields, just watch out for the sheep!
There is plenty of parking space.

We had a lovely few days at Maes Madog Farm Cottages. Linda and Hefin are hospitable hosts and their cottages, converted from old farm buildings, are well kept, very clean and pleasant. The cottages are warm, comfortable and quite compact - cosy you would say - with more than enough space for all the guests.
The cottages are situated in a sunny position at an altitude of about 700feet, yet they enjoy a relatively sheltered aspect, so it doesn't seem to matter whether the weather is fine or wet.
It was very nice to be able to wander at will all around the farm, especially just after dawn when the birds are well under way with their dawn chorus. Lambs were everywhere, gambolling about the place, playing with each other. Fresh free-range eggs for breakfast... what more could you want?

The cottage we stayed at is very nice. You will feel like you are at home, its warm and comfortable. Well decorated and everything is there that you need.
Linda and Hefin are lovely people, and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Booking was easy and good value for money!
it is the perfect location to stay and discover North Wales. You could just chill out and enjoy the surroundings, discover the amazing sites and scenery of the area.
You won't regret staying here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the cottage... We only used one bedroom but there was room for 6. Apt included full kitchen with all necessary utensils but make sure to bring your own food/condiments/paper goods. 2 hours from Manchester, UK airport.

My wife nephew and I stayed here for four days we were made to feel very welcome from the moment of our early arrival till the second we left. The cottages are set within the grounds of their working sheep farm a a mile or so from the a5 so it's lovely and peacefull, but still in an ideal location, close to the mountains and Betws Y Coed. The cottages are warm, comfortable, very clean and spacious yet still have good character. Thank you Hefin & Lynda for a lovely stay.

My fiance and I love hiking in Snowdonia, we found Maes Madog in 2009 and have been back every year since, this year we will be spending our honeymoon there! We have stayed in both of the small cottages and they were both very clean, cosy and comfortable. They are equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday and the owners are very friendly. Top marks to Maes Madog Farm Cottages!
