Description from the owner
The cottage has 70' of private frontage on one of Michigan's best lakes in the northwest section of the lower peninsula. Eight miles long. Excellent for fishing, skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and sailing. Great sunsets.
GOOGLE "crystal lake michigan" to see an abundance of pictures of the lake, some of them aerial shots that are quite spectacular.
The cottage is about 15' off the water. Use of small fishing boat and paddle-boat are available at no extra charge.

Crystal Lake borders on Lake Michigan and is 32 miles southwest of Traverse City, Michigan. The cottage is at the end of Lake Street in the southwest corner of Beulah, Michigan. It is secluded as there is a berm behind it separating it from other cottages. The berm is dedicated to a public trail that goes all the way to Frankfort, Michigan, which is on Lake Michigan. If you GOOGLE "Crystal Lake Michigan" there are many pictures of this magnificent lake.

Absolutely delightful... The cottage is like a home from home, you get a feeling of wanting to be their, it is so well equipped and comfortable indoors and outdoors. Lying in bed and seeing the waters edge only a few feet away and listening to the waves was really amazing. We travelled to all the local towns and waked the beach of Lake Michigan, all is so close, the cottage in in a perfect area for getting to some of the most beautiful spots on the universe! So so spoilt for choice! This was a wonderful place to stay and take in the scenery, watch the stars, enoy the stove fire... We shall return...

The cottage was perfect - small and quaint, in perfect condition, with the lake right off the front porch. The cottage is steps away from Beulah's cute little downtown and the public beach / park. The water is so crystal clear, no seeweed, and clean. The house has air conditioners too - which is important for some weeks in the summer in Northern Michigan!! I would highly recommend a stay here, we already booked our week for next summer!

My sisters and I shared a delightful week here. While we have stayed in larger cottages on Crystal Lake, this one was much more comfortable, but the real discriminator is the view of and access to beautiful Crystal Lake. In fact, when you walk in, it feels as if you are on a houseboat. All you see is water. We hated to leave it and have already signed up for next year.
You'll find that the house is very clean and I was pleaseantly surprised to see that its kitchen is just as well equipped as mine is at home. Bikes, non-motor boats, inner tubes, games, grill, etc., are all provided. The bike path is right behind the house, and the lake is about 5 steps away from the deck. The town of Beulah is a short walk. It doesn't get much better than that from my point of view.
You'll find that the pictures of this cottage provide a very accurate depiction. This is a first in my experience. What you see is what you get. Enjoy!

You step out onto the deck and the crystal clear lake is at your feet. You can't get any closer unless you are in it. I went swimming everyday. The cottage is cozy and very comfortable. The safe small town is only a 5-minute walk-away, as is the ice cream stop. I shopped, read my book, watched the sunsets and enjoyed the fish fry at a local restaurant.
What a perfect, relaxed vacation. We've already reserved for next year.

What more could I ask for? A perfect location with Crystal Lake literally right outside my door and cottage that makes me feel right at home. The porch was a great place to start my morning with a cup of coffee and a wonderful place to wind down and watch the sunset over the lake. The water is amazing, just like the name implies, crystal clear. The former railroad has been turned into a biking/walking/running trail that is a great way to get out and see the north.
Beulah is a wonderful town that is small and has everything you may need but also Traverse City is only 30 minutes away if that is on the agenda.
I would highly recommend a stay here; you will enjoy your trip!!
