Both apartments can also, if so requested, be connected by their shared door, so that friends or family – up to eight people – can live together.

This is a family friendly accommodation with beds and chairs for children of various ages readily available. The house is a TV-free haven. Smoking is only allowed outside.
The art workshops in house offer a chance to get creative, and an art trail leads into the nearby Biendorf Forest, which also invites to other extended walks. The Baltic Sea, at a distance of 7 km, can be reached quickly for a quick jump in its waters or a relaxed sunbath on the beach.

Architecture:
BĂĽttelkow mansion was built 1910-1912 by the banker family Ballin of Oldenburg, according to plans designed by the architect Paul Korff (LandbaubĂĽro Laage). It is a building constructed in eleven axes, with two floors, situated above a high foundational floor.
Location:
BĂĽttelkow with its 20 inhabitants is close by Biendorf, a town near the Baltic Sea. The landscape is characterized by the rolling moraines and the endless fields of yellow rape plants, lying between the seaside resorts Rerik and KĂĽhlungsborn and the Hanseatic cities Rostock and Wismar.
The Büttelkow mansion’s “village” is a pear surrounded by fields and forests, creek and ponds. The Baltic Sea and a swamp lake invite guests to healing baths. On the horizon, one can see the neighboring mansions; it is not far to the “white city by the sea” Heiligendamm or Bad Doberan with its unique cathedral.

* follow the concrete path into the village, then on the cobbled road to the yellow postbox of the German post on the right side. You can park here, the main entrance is on the right.

Either travel to KĂĽhlungsborn port, directly at the Baltic Sea, or to the port of Rerik, which is located in the Salzhaff, reached by way of the Baltic Sea. Hafen Rerik port is 7 km to the north of Buettelkow mansion.
by plane:
Standard or chartered air connections land at Rostock airport, sports planes can also land at their airport at Zweedorf.
From Rostock, you can get to the vacation apartments at BĂĽttelkow mansion by airport shuttle, from Zweedorf (close by Rerik) by taxi.
