It's a rental with great quality considering its price. The only thing is that the mattresses are not too comfortable...

everything just went awesome..but the biggest hit was the romance package cool cabins set up for me(and a surprise for my wife)...the cabin was very clean & the only disappointment was the furniture was alittle dated..but other than that everything went great...it was an amazing meteor shower which we watched from the large deck...I loved being on top of the hill with nobody near us...I highly recommend staying at this cabin and renting from cool cabins...see you next year

Priced right but in need of some repairs. Rustic would be a good word for this cabin. Ok for a couple with a couple of kids. Don't plan on sleeping eight here, it would be too crowded.
I liked the cabin

The cabin is a great value for what we paid. It's a two story with the bottom have 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The top floor is the living and dining room, Kitchen and 1 other bathroom.
I liked the nice long table in the dining room. Was good to host dinner comfortably and play a few rounds of board games. There was enough couches and chairs to lounge around.
The kitchen was average. Did it's job. It's not the finest pots and pans and utensils but it's not the worst I've seen.
My complaint would be that the downstairs was really cold. It doesn't seem like the heater heats that area so you'll want to sleep there with a warm blanket. Some of my friends chose to sleep upstairs on the floor because of it. Also there wasn't internet and it's not the easiest place to get a signal on your cell phone.
Get a GPS, don't rely too much on the phone GPS. It's almost a maze to get to this place and my buddies and I got lost when we tried to leave in the dark.

Needed a quick get-away before school started. My daughter, myself and her friend headed to the cabin for two nights (Fri - Sun). Check in was super quick, key in lock box for easy access. Cabin is very roomy for 3 or 4. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes and loved the dishwasher. Master has a king bed and its own bathroom. Guest room has a double and two sets of bunk beds (the 2nd set makes the room a bit crowded) It was a very hot weekend so the upstairs of the cabin were a bit warm (no aC) but downstairs where the bedrooms were it was much cooler. Cabin has a table in kitchen area for meals or the large table in living room - seating 8 - perfect for playing board games. Some are even provided in the cabin though we brought our own. The balcony was very restful for reading and a nice breeze was had when leaving the front door opened with the patio door too. Did not use fireplace or outdoor BBQ. Stairs down may be steep for some. The only suggestions I might have for the owners is to have a TV in the master bedroom and a patio table outside so we could enjoy eating outside on the balcony.
Comfy, private and woodsy

The cabin worked amazingly well as a mountain retreat. It is off the main road and well within the trees. Perfect as a getaway. The two bedroom cabin would work well for a couple and their kids, as the master suite has its own bathroom, and the second bedroom would be great for kids. Although, to say that 6 people would fit in the second room is quite a stretch. I would suggest no more than 3, maybe 4, in the second bedroom, and kids at that. This worked perfectly for two adults who each wanted their own bedroom and bathroom.
Otherwise, the upstairs living/dining room was very roomy. The deck was great for sunning and star gazing. Not too far from the main area of the city, but still offers some privacy. Some of the kitchen items I would consider "rustic". A great value, none the less.

It was great.. A bit old (not as new as it all looks in the pictures but it was great) I love the view we had outside at night of the stars and then in the morning, even though this year was not full of rain or cold, we had snow in the backside of the forest which the kids loved and since not a lot of cars pass by the front side it's a good area for kids to be if they want to play in the upper area (where there was also great areas where they could slide down on their boards! ???
the place was Perfect

The only problem that we have was the uncorrect code of the key box but inmeditly was solved by the staff. the cabin was nice for us and the forest impressive, calm and perfect to rest.
There's only one word... Amazing!

The home was cozy and nice. We stayed at 514 and loved it there except for the bathroom right by the living room. That bathroom was way too hot. Other than that, it was a great cabin that was very well supplied for us.
The location was way up in the mountain, and even though we had some problems getting to the place due to chains and weather conditions, the view from up there was an amazing one.
My friends and I loved the time we had here :)

Good comfortable stay. Make sure you have chains on your vehicle wheels since the approach to this cabin is uphill and the road gets very slippery during icy conditions. We did not have chains on our 2WD vehicle and could not climb up the hill with the vehicle slipping back. We then had to stop and put the chains on. Otherwise the Cabin is very good with full kitchen and having a nice view from its patio on the back.

The house was in a great location for sledding. It was a little out of the way from the town but was perfect with what we wanted to do. The side of the house has a perfect hill and provides tons of entertainment. It is a good size place but beware that the twin beds are very small and the bunk beds are not the normal height. Instead they are much smaller.

it was a little confusing to get to if u dont have navigation. that being said, you need navigation to get in, and to get out unless youve been in this area before or you have a really good memory. the cons:there is no dumpster near the cabin, and you have to drive the trash about 2 miles to a dumpster, if you dont they will charge you 50$. Also, there is no blinds/curtains on a lot of the windows so dont expect to sleep in past 7am. The bunk beds were so-so and a little too soft according to my friends that slept on it. other than these little cons, the overall cabbin was great. a lot of towels, board games, quiet, and space for a good amount of friends.

The Cabin was awesome. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Only problem we had was finding the dumpster to throw the trash away. I would definitely recomend for friends and family and would probably stay there again.
