This was a great family cabin. Small but cozy and just the right size for me and my three kids. This was the first time we decided to go somewhere for Christmas and we've decided to make it a tradition. The company forgot to send me an email with confirmation of our reservation with the lock box code to get into the cabin, but I was able to get it the same day we got there. The location was good, it was close to stores when we needed something and not too far from the alpine Slide. The kitchen looked like no one had cooked in it for a while because the hanging pots had cobwebbs and the glasses were dusty, so we had to wash everything before we used it. The bedrooms have no doors on them so this is fine for close knit families or with small kids. There was no X-box as stated but that was ok. We liked that it was pet friendly and that's one of the reasons why we chose Cubby Bear Inn. We do suggest putting an automatic light on the outside of cabin because it was dark and difficult to see it at night. Overall we enjoyed this cabin and would stay in it again.

For the first time renting a cabin, it was very nice. The cabin was clean*, cozy and comfortable. It made us feel like home. The provided amenities were excellent. Except for food and maid service everything we needed was there. The Location was great; close enough to everything (short drive to snow play and restaurants). The game table was a plus for kids and adults. Lots of puzzles, games and videos.
*The only negatives were a couple of spiders in the bathroom and some webs and dust in the heater there and the floor in bedroom with twin beds upstairs could have been vacuumed before we came. looking for something that dropped under the bed and there were dust and pieces of paper or lint under. Also some of the DVD and video games were missing disks. They should take those out when they clean/didnt want owners to think we took them. Also one antler was missing from the welcome moose in living room.
There is no 4-1/2 so overall I would give it a 5. We would stay there again. Any discounts for return customers? :)
Cozy, comfortable and relaxing for a family that needed a break!

Our first time renting anything other than a hotel. Great experience. Check in/out was fast and convenient. Location was just right. It made us relax and enjoy the reason why we went: to be with family! The house was cozy, relaxing, and just right for our family size. It had plenty of tvs with cable for anyone who had time to watch it. The game table kept the older kids up and entertained them when it got dark. There wasn't a lot of people around to disturb our peace and quiet. But it was close to a store, gas station and doughnut shop. The drive into the village and ski resorts wasn't far. We enjoyed the snow. The home was clean and had plenty of pots, pans, and cleaning supplies.
We totally enjoyed our experience at Cubby Bear cabin

We were pleased that we were able to go directly to the cabin using the key 'Lock Box' option. This made check-in and checkout very easy.
The cabin was well stocked and made things simple. There was firewood, towels, linens, toilet paper, ample kitcheware, paper towels, spices & oils for cooking; and even shovels for digging out of the snow. The cabin also had board games, cards and Dvds. All we had to do was buy food.
Checkout instructions were well described and easy to follow.
All in all we had a special family weekend that we will remember for a long time. Thank you Cool Cabins.

I enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend with my hubby and dog a lot. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed all the scenery. Our dog just went crazy in the front yard with all the snow he really loved it. I enjoyed the fire place and my hubby can't wait to come back and snow board. I really want to come back and enjoy the lake in the summer time. Very pet friendly in the village. There was a great family cafe real close called "Thelmas" good food. We had a great time and the cabin was excellent for our needs.
