The cabin was in a nice location but the furniture smelled and the sofa was broken. If you're looking for a view or lake, this is a place. The balcony faced other cabins. The price of $318.00 was too much for this place. It worths only for $200. or less.
Great time at Harrison's Hanger

Harrison's Hanger was more than we expected. Very clean and taken care of. Our daughter has bad allergies and asthma so the cleanliness of the cabin is always very important to us. No carpet, which is great for a pet friendly cabin. Upstairs living space is small, I would say 6 is a crowd. Couch is comfy. Lots of closet space in bedrooms. Everything works well in kitchen except the toaster, watch your toast it'll burn. Steep stairs to downstairs but there is a railing. I have a bad knee. Downstairs does get cold like other reviewers said. So I brought two heated blankets and the kids slept like babies. Washer and dryer works well. Nice yard not completely fenced in. There's a nice market at the end of the street that was fairly priced and the locals seemed to use. There's also a little pub if you wanted to drink a beer and eat a burger and walk back. We didn't but it looked nice.
Only negatives you can't have hot showers back to back. You're gonna have to wait about 30 minutes between. Hot water runs out fast. And no king size bed so my 6'3" husband slept on the couch because the upstairs bedroom has a bed frame that won't allow him to extend his legs and he said the downstairs master (also queen no bed frame) was too cold too sleep in. (sorry honey)
harrisons hanger was perfect for the kids in the snow

We loved this great cabin. The best part was that they let us bring our dogs. Good location. Great yard not totally fenced tho. We will be staying again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The service was great! We did have a plumbing problem, but it was taken care of quickly. It was very comfortable, and we appreciated the 1.5 baths as there were six in our family. Also, there was plenty of room in the yard for our puppy. We'll definitely come back.
very relaxing - had everything we needed

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Even though close to everything, we felt away from it all as our view was only of mountains and trees and a few other cabins (who were all pretty quiet). Cute and cozy furnishings. Cool Cabins was prompt with sending a man out when we had trouble with the DVD. Since it was summer, the 1st few days were hot & the upstairs bedroom was a bit hot, but we just slept w/ window open and only a sheet. But the downstairs was wonderfully cool and the large ceiling fan in the main upstairs room really helped. Very happy with the service and everything that was provided for the cabin.

I loved the cabin very much! i had a great weekend staying there. everything was perfect, the scenery, and where the cabin was located. My least favorite thing was in the master bedroom downstairs it was very very cold. The heater would not get it cold enough. Besides that, I had a very amazing experience. I hope to return next year.

We really enjoyed our stay in Big Bear Lake. The cabin was comfortable but not as clean as we would have like it. It was warm during the day and there was only one fan (living room) in the house.Cool Cabins supplied us with a fan for the upstairs beroom. The grill was dirty and needed cleaning and we re-washed all the dishes. The cabinis really nice with three bedrooms but it needs some updating, a good cleaning and some new pots and pans for cooking. However we will be back and will rent from Cool Cabins again
Harrison's Hangar is great for 4-5 people!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The location in Big Bear city was nice - very convenient to restaurants, the lake, hiking trails, and the village. The home itself was clean and furnished appropriately. We really enjoyed spending time on the upper deck.

Hello, our stay was great! We loved the cabin and the location. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is that they take a look at the deck that surrounds the cabin, we noticed that several of the railings had fallen off and this left a large gap that a small child or dog could fall through. Since we were traveling with our dogs this made us nervous as the deck was icy from all the snow and the fall was about 15 to 20ft. Other than that the house was wonderful and very cozy, we had a great time and will return very soon!

The extremely cold bedrooms downstairs made our overnight stay uncomfortable. We did report this issue to the main office. The cleanliness of the cabin was not what we expected. Read more

The cabin is very cold (no carpet at all just laminated floors), and the heater does not work at the lower rooms unless you keep the shared restroom open.
The kitchen cabinets need a good cleaning.
We called or second day stay cool cabins (a saturday), because the shower head was broken at one of the restroom and there was no way to use it, and the person showed until monday after we did the phone check out.
On the other hand, the cabin has a side filed that works splendind as a slider, the children were deligthted

It was a very cute and cozy place. It was at a great part of town with an easy drive to all attractions. The only thing about the house is it has a steep stairway near the hall. So if you have small kids you might need to put the extra foldout table(located in the upstairs bedroom closet) as a baby gate. I would absolutely stay here again.
