The most adorable and well decorated cabin you can imagine. Everything about this cabin says Cozy.Two bedroom, one bath, wood burning stove fireplace, cable TV, DVD player, washer/dryer, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more. Outdoor hot tub.
Bedroom one has a queen bed.
Bedroom two has two twin beds.
Living room has a futon bed.
Pet friendly with fenced yard, barbecue, and forest views. Sleeps 6. Parking for 2 vehicles.

This was a nice cabin. It was clean and comfortable. The only downside to it was the stove. It was an old stove that had a pilot light. When we got to the cabin the place smelled like gas. We called cool cabins about the issue and I had to leave a message. While waiting for cool cabins to get back to us I found out the gas smell was coming from the stove. I lit the pilot lights and all was well. Cool cabins called back about 30 minutes later bu I had already solved the problem. The pilot light went out two more times while we were there. I don't know why it went out because we were not using the stove at the time, but we would start smelling gas. Other than that the cabin was real nice. Our dog enjoyed the yard, and we made a snowman out front. I would reccoment this cabin, just keep an eye on that pilot light.

Quaint little cabin just past the airport. Check in was very quick and easy. We had a hiccup with the code to get the keys but one quick phone call and all was good.
Grab a couple bundles of logs while I was checking in to use in the wood stove. Very quiet street, hot tub was already nice and hot. Not much space in the tv room but was neat seeing that 8 track player. Kitchen has everything you could need (pots,pans,etc.) Sure the carpets have some spots and overall wear and tear but that was to be expected. Overall my family and I really enjoyed our time in Big Bear and loved "our little secret" cabin. Grocery stores just a mile or so up the road, trash drop off is very easy, lots of places to eat and snow play and slopes all close.
Next time I will try and book closer to the Village so that we can walk and experience that part of Big Bear.

P.S. I highly recommend Sugar Pine Bake Shop they made a great birthday cake for my daughter.

A bit of out of town, next time I would stay closer to the village or in moonridge. Spa was best part!If there was no spa the review would just be average but, the cabin was clean. My husband could not get enough of the fancy 8 track player there. So funny to listen to Barry Manilow!

This cabin was actually our second choice after we were unable to access first due to icy conditions. The cabin was clean except the upstairs carpet looks awful due to old stains all over. I would have rated service higher but gave them average/poor only for the fact that we had ordered the food stock for the weekend and since we changed cabins, it had to be re-delivered. The company didn't deliver it to close until 5pm on our second day, so we ended up spending even more money for food. I would recommend company to others.

This cozy cabin was the perfect size for our group of 6. It was much nicer that I even expected. Fresh towels and soap and shampoo. The jacazzi was perfect and already cranked to 101 degrees. It was clean and accomadated all our needs. I was fully impressed and will definitely go back. Check in is smooth and convenient.

We stayed at Our Little Secret this past Labor Day Weekend. It was the second time we have stayed at this cabin. We love it ! Love that it's a quiet neighborhood. Love that it's the perfect size for a small family and that it's Dog Friendly.
My only "simi" negative was that they need to repair the carpet going into the only bathroom.
We will continue to book our Big Bear stays at Our Little Secret ! It's a fabulous place !

The cabin was really nice. We spent a bulk of the time in the living room/dining room area because we had 5 people and there wasn't enough space/seating in the area with the TV. The Jacuzzi made it nice to hang out in at night, watch the stars and chat with friends. With it being pet friends, we were able to bring our dog with us and he enjoyed running around with the dog that was staying next door. Make sure you bring everything you need for cooking as there wasn't even salt in the place. The place had everything it said it had in the listing and I would definitely stay again. It's a nice quiet neighborhood that's fairly close to the lake and Vons for shopping.

Service was great the process was easy. No need to run to the office. They had everything out and ready for grabs from kitchen utencils to laundry detergent. The home was nice and neat. Plenty of extra space.

8-Track player, iron fireplace, space / roomy, convenient & well stocked kitchen, bedroom arrangement (2 beds plus 1 trundle style for each), ability to purchase/leave gift baskets upon our arrival - nice touch.
Could've been better:
Circuit breaker for the hot tub. Hot tub looked great, but couldn't draw power for the heating element (fixed the day we left). -

The cabin was clean and just the right size. The only issue we had was the hot tub not being ready. But after one phone call the issue was resolved.

the room was dirty, carpet very dirty dinning table dirty, bathroom dirty, i absolutely cleaned the whole house with my kids. my kids refused to take a bath for the days that we were there because the bathtub was not clean

Cabin was clean and offered all features as described. We have stayed with Cool Cabins many times and check in is always quick and easy. Our favorite part was the hot tub. We will be coming back to Big Bear soon!

The cabin was very cozy. We didn't know it was going to be in a residential neighborhood, that was a little bit of a downer not as quiet as we thought. We still enjoyed ourselves and it was perfect for our get away. It also happen to fall on the same weekend of the air show and that was really nice.

Once i made the reservations for this cabin i went and looked up some reviews about this company and lemme tell you i was scared and not happy i thought i had made a big mistake about booking with them there were soo many negative reviews on tripadvisor. So my husband and i rented this cabin for labor day weekend, it was a great choice the cabin was very clean and adorable the kitchen had everything you need actually the whole house did they had great toiletries (Bath & Body works Soaps and lotions) plenty of clean towels the hot tub was great the only bad thing was that the Bbq's grill was kinda different and took longer to bbq our food other than that we had a great time here our dogs loved it one of them loved being up stairs for some reason. It was very pricey though for just the 3 nights if they would lower the price and not charge to throw away the trash it would be perfect. i think that there shouldnt be any negative comments about this cabin it has everything you need its the kind of cabin that'll make you wanna get up in the am and cook a nice american breakfast have the smell of coffee in the air open up all the windows and blinds and just have a good time! out stay was fantastic and we are thankful for such a great cabin! oh and another thing... we never ran out of hot water i was thinking that we were not gonna have enough time to take warm showers and we were wrong i took over 45 min warm/hot shower and my husband was still able to take his time with the hot water!! Big bear cool cabins expect us to make many more reservations from us we loved our stay!!!

This cabin is cozy and perfect for our furry kids! The fenced in yard keeps our dogs safe and they had so much fun. Me and my Husband have stayed here two summers 2009-2010. It has everything we were looking for that accomodated our needs. The jacuzzi was great! We love this cabin, and want to keep it our little secret too!
