Semi-secluded woodsy quiet cabin. Covered deck with a porch swing for watching birds, rabbits and squirrels. Front yard has a 7 foot wooden bear overlooking everything. Two bedroom, 2 bath, 2 fireplaces, cable TV, DVD player, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and pots/pans. Cabin also has a large back yard, nicely landscaped.
Master bedroom has a queen bed, fireplace, and private bath.
Bedroom two has a double bed and bunk beds.
Sofa sleeper in the living room.

We did a spur of the moment trip like we always do. Luckily cool cabins had rentals open. We were able to stay at the Looney Den and it was a great experience. The staff was nice and very generous. We enjoyed our few days in The Looney Den. It is a nice set-up for a family or 2 to share. Very casual, with an old-fashioned style. We were comfortable, warm, and had plenty of room. It was very quiet in the neighborhood during our stay. We were just a few minutes drive from ski slopes, sledding hills, The Village, the zoo, etc. Not much of a view from the cabin, so if that's what you are looking for then I'd look for another property. Our only complaint is that a few things were broken in the cabin... the arm of a living room chair fell off right away when we sat down, exposing a long rusty screw. And the closet doors in one bedroom were impossible to open/close, precariously placed. It would be great if those things could be fixed for the next guests.

My families expierence in the cabin was nothing short of awesome! This cabin was very clean, and accomidating! We were very sad to leave, location was perfect. Very cute and cozy! we will be back to stay in the loony den again!

Upon arrival we amazed of the beautiful condition of the Cabin. Kids felt wright home , We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Just a short distance from the lake and other activities.

It's a wonderful place that let's you stay in contact with nature. For us, who came from a far an very hot place, it was an incredible experience to share with our children. They had de oportunity to learn so many things related to nature and diferent types of weather and activities such as skiing.
