Two bedroom, one bath cabin with a hot tub, foosball, wood burning fireplace, 3 cable TVs, 2 DVD players, surround sound, stereo, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more. Deck with barbecue.
Bedroom one has a queen bed.
Bedroom two has a double bed, two twin beds, and a futon bed.
Living room has a sofa sleeper.
Close to the Convention Center, shops and restaurants. Sleeps 6. Parking for 2 vehicles.

This cabin was cozy ,just as we expected it to be... the futon bed was uncomfortable...so our kids took turns in the bunk bed-ful size bottom and twin on top. However, the queen bed was extremely comfortable. It should be mentioned that 'cable' is limited...only about 15 channels total. Propane in the tank needs a refill. We only had enough to barely get our hotdogs cooked.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. We went on a family weekend so our kids could experience snow for the first time. The front and side yard were large enough for the kids to enjoy the snow. The kids loved the bunkbeds and the game table, although the table was a little wobbly. The hot tub was a nice way to relax at the end of the day.

Everything was great since the cabin was clean and very well equipped. Everything was near by (such as the lakes and stores) and the hot tub was very relaxing and in very good conditions. However, we had some issues regarding the shower since we ran out of hot water too fast. Hopefully maintenance will take care of that. Besides that, expect to see us again.

The place was better than I expected. It was a lot to pay for the class level of the neighborhood and quality of furniture etc but that is normal for Big Bear this time of year so you can't hold that against them. The heater was weak so we bought a space heater for upstairs and the beds were not very comfortable although there was lots of room for people who have kids. The sofa and chair in the living room were wonderful though and the land around the home was great for sledding. The place needs cleaning (all these cabins usually need more cleaning) as there are cobwebs everywhere and the bathroom had dust in the heater that looked decades old... Shower was comfortable, but curtain had mold. The kitchen was old, the dish washer was so old I was intimidated and hand washed dishes, but the fireplace was nice and the spa is indoors so that would be nice for many people too (we did not use it). Cute decor, no closet space or drawers so you have to live out of a suitcase. Location is a bit farther from the village than I would like but it is fairly close to the ski resorts. Overall this place is very good if you know what to expect.

We had a wonderful stay here. This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the game table, and the hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin is located on a quiet neighborhood street, not too far from the lake. Although, there are neighbors on every side, it still felt private. Only downside to this place- no washer/dryer, and the cable reception is worse than antenna TV. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in front of the TV, but it was rather annoying when we did. I will say that when we notified Cool Cabins about the TV, they sent somebody out that day. We received great service- quick and easy check-in & check-out, quick response to our problems & questions, friendly & courteous employees. I'm sure we'll be booking through Cool Cabins again soon.

Cabin was as avertised. Clean and comfortable. We had a great time, we are from the Phoenix area and just wanted to get away and cool off. 80 degree days and 47 degree nights were just what the doctor ordered! The cabin supplied everything we needed and the hot tub was awesome!! The location was great for getting around, everything was pretty close but the traffic was a little noisy during the day. All and all a pretty nice cabin at a reasonable price. Had a blast!!

I enjoyed staying at the Rainbow Cabin. It was very cozy and fun. Everything was easily accessible. The only two difficulties were trouble getting the grill to work and it was very dark inside the living room at night.

We were happy with the location and what was provided in the home. The bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable, it sunk in. The upper rooms were extremely warm in the day but opening the window helped a lot. Overall it was pretty clean except for some of the stuff that takes extra work like big chunks of dust on the side of the TV and next to the fridge where I dropped something and had to reach in to get it and the drawer with the utensils was dirty so we cleaned it. We appreciated the soaps and lotions in the bathroom. There were a lot of towels provided. Would like to know where a laundry could be done though if we were staying longer and a TV guide for the days we were there would have been nice. The hot tub was nice to have but the chlorine smell was too strong. We had to open a window and even that didn't help enough. It made our eyes water. Overall we really enjoyed it. It's cozy but it was big enough for the 5 of us. Plenty of room in the living room for us all to hang out and play some games and watch TV at the end of the day. There were plenty of blankets provided for the cold nights. We didn't end up using an kitchen appliances so I can't comment on that. We also weren't sure where the trash had to go even though there was some information provided we didn't know where those streets were so we took it with us. I would use it again for a small group. The good was good and anything else was not too bad. Biggest complaints would be the bed and the hot tub chlorine smell.

It was really cute and cosy - the hot tub is great and very clean. There is a great log fire and logs for you to use. My one gripe was that the beds were really soft - so much so that it was hard to sleep. But that is my opinion and I prefer harder mattresses. Also - the internet is there but not through Big Bear Cool Cabins - it is to be organised beforehand with the owners. I think so at least - we saw it there and called Bbcc but they said it was not included, even though I had thought it was. Oh well...
Great for a last minute booking - we booked it the night before we arrived. -

We had a really nice stay with our adult children. The cabin has a nice arrangement with good living area. The air hockey table had broken legs which we barely supported in order to play with it. Otherwise we had everything we needed. The hot tub was well appreciated after skiing. The furnishings are nice and homey.

When we got to the cabin, we had no hot water, no cable service and the jacuzzi was filthy! I called Big Bear Cool Cabins to ask for help. The woman who I spoke with was very rude, argued with me and then put me on hold only to hang up on me! (I don't know how someone could argue with "no hot water, filthy jacuzzi and no cable.) Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but I'm sure you know who she is.
I'm glad I called again because the second woman I spoke with was very helpful and sent the repair man right over. I was impressed that he arrived very quickly (in a snowstorm!) and was efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, he only was able to half-fix the problems. We never did get hot water or cable, but he managed to get us warm water, a clean jacuzzi and free antenna TV stations.
So, in the end, though we were at first treated rudely and although some pretty basic things were lacking (hot water, people!), I do not give a lower score because:
-after my second call the repair man was sent over quickly
-the cabin itself was nice, with a lovely fireplace and great location (though the upstairs bedrooms could have used space heaters)
-the reservation process and check-in over the internet were very quick and easy
