VenturaOur annual Weekend in the Snow

We have stayed in Wendy's Sunny Chateau three years in a row. We love it and plan to visit again next year. There is plenty of room for the grand kids to slide and build snowmen. The cottage, at 7500 ft, is high enough that the snow stays a little longer.
My family feels right at home when we walk in. The cottage is very warm and comfortable with a great view..
Next year we plan to extend our stay by several days.

Sunny Chateau - great cabin to spend your vacation, to enjoy a snowy day, to go skiing, to cook a nice dinner, to enjoy the family, to burn some logs in the fireplace, to play a board game, to see the snow plow go by.
Twice we dove into the deepest Winter in Big Bear here in Moonridge, (with chains on the car), we had an amazing stay.

We had a great time. It was my husband and myself and our 3 daughters 4 1/2, 3 and 11 months). It was very easy to baby proof so our littlest could safely toddle around and the girls loved it. We loved the beautiful view of the mountainside. I would recommend anyone traveling with small children to bring a loud fan or sound machine to lull the noise of the heaters at night when they click on and off. I would highly recommend this place.

Thank you for such an easy rental expierence. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen for our family! Our kids really enjoyed the cabin!
The location is close to everything in town yet gave us the privacy we needed during the evening!

Our "Trip to the Snow" was made wonderful by Wendy's cabin. My daughter loved the comfortable beds. Our 3 year old wants to go back to the same cabin (because it was so pretty) There was plenty of room for the kids to play in the snow. Plenty of towels. The cabin was very clean and well supplied. We were extremely pleased. We will definitely rent this cabin again..

This property was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. We did find renters across the street with a large group had used both parking spaces so we parked behind them which blocked their cars. We arrived too late to find out which neighbors parked there to ask them to move the cars. It was a perfect place for us parents and the two kids to play in the snow in the front yard. We did light cooking while snowed in, put puzzles together and read some of the children's books in the cabin. We brought our own firewood and it was very cozy. Great view from the windows!

We had a wonderful time. The house was cozy, warm and perfect for my husband and our 2 children. The view from the living room is as nice as it gets! The kids enjoyed playing in the snow in the yard. We would go back again for sure!
