I took my sons up to Big Bear for the first time for some fishing. The cabin was well decorated, comfortable, and at a great location that was minutes from town. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The fireplace didn't work (no gas key), but we still managed to get a fire started for smores. It was a little difficult to find by the instructions, but our navigation system figured that out. The cabin is located down a flight of about 20 steps, and has a fairly steep driveway. The bathroom is on the first floor, with the bedrooms upstairs. The wifi worked great, but the Tv's could be updated. It had digital TV, which was a pain after being accustomed to uVerse / cable. The flash floods and thunderstorm made was fun, but who can predict the weather when booking a getaway ;-) Overall, a great cabin at a good value.

Nice family home warm & cozy close to the zoo. Parking would be a problem in the winter.

We enjoyed our stay at Fireside Inn. Very clean! Loved that it was pet free as we have allergies to cats and dogs. Bathroom was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable! Stairs inside were a little steep and I slipped twice coming down them. Overall a great place to rent!

The cabin is cute and cozy. The two bedroom upstairs have four nice beds and linens, letting us all sleep very well and made it easier to get out early for the ski slopes every morning. The living room and kitchen downstairs, although small, have everything that we needed, including TV with cable. The bathroom is nicely decorated. All in all, we had a great time in this cabin and skiing in Big Bear.

Came in the day after Christmas and a good overnight snow (6"). Cabin was very clean when we arrived. Driveway was buried in snow and ice. Dug it out and it stayed clear for rest of the week. We are family of five. Three boys. 17, 15, and 10. One upstairs room at two doubles and futon. Perfect for the boys. The other room has a double. Perfect for my wife and I. Thought one bathroom was going to be an issue but no problems all week. Cabin has been recently redone and is very modern and everything worked great. free WiFi for the kids was great and a big plus. About five minutes driving the kids to Bear Mountain in the morning and drop them off. Great streets to take a walk around the neighborhood. The 10 year old made a great sledding area right nice to house and we could watch from the living room. Great cabin and location. Great room for everyone to relax at night.
