First off the rent is extremely helpful and amazing. She held the property until I could ensure I had enough time to make a decision on to rent or not. After we decided to rent she was there every step of the way ensuring our stay was pleasant. She even called when she was out of the us to check in with us and make sure we are enjoying ourselves. The place was overall awesome. Spacious and cozy. Plenty of beds for 10-12 people. Located just down the street from Snow Summit and the grocery store. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Spent a week in the cabin and had a great time. Would recommend this to friends and family.

We spent 7 days at big bear, the best holidays for my children 5 and 7, the location is great and the cabin big enough up to 10 people, snow summit is 5 minutes driving so my wife and family could go and back from it, thank you annita.

We went here for a few days before snow season (Early-December). I found the place very nice for the price. Upstairs is a good, large area to relax in. Any problems you encoutner, the owners are right on top of things to get it resolved. I would definitely go there again. Brought my kids, and they enjoyed themselves.

We had a great time on our weekend get away to Big Bear and La Finca was the perfect set up for two families with 3 year olds. I will say the stairs inside were a bit steep for babies, but I saw a gate tucked away so just ask. They have all the plates, bedding and air hockey. It was very close to the golf course and zoo. The owners were very nice and helpful and responsive. Lots of room for big families or multiple families.

Oh what a 'fixer-upper' La Finca was in March 2004, but we fell in love with it knowing we had lots of work ahead of us to turn the ugly duckling into the cozy home it is today, even with steep 1965 stairs that to this date we have no idea how to amend. So thank you for finding the children's gate we purchased for your and our little ones. We try to think of our guests' and our own children and elderly and what their special needs may be. Ana was so easy to work with leading up to the weekend up at Big Bear. She answered all our questions and bore with us as we took our time making the decision. The house had plenty of sleeping space, plenty of plates/glasses/silverware/pots/utensils, had a nice fireplace and balcony. We had a great time!

Not only was this rental exceptionally furnished, but it was perfectly welcoming as well. We felt right at home from the start. There seemed to be no detail that was left unfinished. The kitchen very clean, organized and well stocked. The bathrooms are spacious and tidy, the livingrooms are beautifully furnished and very comfy. All amenities that one can think of are provided. We return year after year and are always impressed with the homeowner's eye for detail and comfort to their "guests."

Our stay at La Finca was wonderful! It was like our home away from home. It was fantastic!! The place looks just as pictured and is large, clean, cozy and very quiet. Ana Maria was great providing us with all the information we needed for our stay at La Finca. The location is only a few minutes from Big Bear Lake and the shopping center so it was very convenient to get around. I would highly recommend staying here for your next trip to Big Bear Lake. Whenever our family visit Big Bear, we always stay at La Finca. We love this cabin! It's absolutely perfect for a family of 2(or just one). We often go with my sister and her family - so there's a total of 4 kids and 4 adults. We all comfortably hang out in the upstairs living room w/o feeling cramped. And if the kids get too noisy, we send them downstairs to the downstairs living room. ;-) Love the open sun lit kitchen, cozy living room and wrap around patio/balcony. We always bbq, using the grill outside. My children, ages 8 and 6 say they wish they could live in La Finca. :-) It's very obvious that the owners love and take care of the place. We feel honored to be staying at their "home"! It's also very close to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, all major stores, etc.. love the location! Counting the days until we could go back. We go every year and it's something we all look forward to. Feels like home!

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Finca for 4 days... Great experience!! The cabin was so cozy! We were perfectly content just being inside by the fire, and enjoying the comfort of the accommodations. Everything was clean, and super comfortable. When we decided to venture outside, we found that we were conveniently close to the zoo, Bear Mountain (perfect if you like to ski or snowboard), and the market, shops and restaurants. The owners were extremely nice and very professional. The entire experience was positive in every way. Such a perfect get away! We'll be back!!

The cabin was clean, organized and well furnished. The free use of Wi-Fi coupled with the free calls to Canada and the us, plus the beautiful view outside - what a relaxing feeling. The children had fun in the play area downstairs. It was packed with Uno and other card games not to mention table hockey, pool and ping pong tables. Awesome! The kitchen had everything I needed including aluminum foils and ziploc bags which are sometimes forgotten to be packed. We couldn't ask for more. I have already advertised on my Facebook account so this might be the start of a yearly outing at La Finca!

Where to start! The cabin was clean and bright and welcoming! Plenty of towels and linens! I was the chief cook and bottle washer for our crew and have to say the kitchen was extremely well stocked! I had everything i needed and then some. The two bathrooms were sparkling and we had plenty of hot water.
the zoo and the ski slope is within walking distance. town was a short drive and we had snow :-)
You know you have made a good choice in a rental when it feels comfy like your own home. We are looking forward to another stay at La Finca.

As someone who loves to cook I've tried to think of other cooks/chefs too keeping in mind 'What would they need?' thus the many items in the kitchen plus the seasonings for those who travel and don't want to carry items back home. With every penny/dollar that comes in we re-invest it into La Finca with the effort to make it more comfortable for everyone. Soon we'll have the hot tub everyone wants. Over the years now, we have had the pleasure of enjoying its undeniable warmth and comfort, Its truly become our little home away from home. Our most recent stay only went to reinforce the satisfaction and the enchantment we have come to expect from La Finca.. The added renovations have enhanced the comfort, character and charisma, while maintaining the warm family friendly attraction it has always possessed. So with the bright outlook of added amenities, when plans call for a Big Bear getaway La Finca is a no brainer. La Finca rocks!

We have been staying at la Finca for the past few years, both in winter and in summer. La Finca is a great place to stay in both seasons, and is great for groups, since it has two separate living rooms, so the kids can be in one and the adults in the other. It's a great gateway for staying in Big Bear - close to Bear Mountain, close to the lake, with lots of amenities (the Free WiFi is always useful for us!

Location is ideal and cabin is perfectly suited for families, friends, romantic weekend, extended stay and more.
