If you’re looking for the perfect quintessential cottage by the lake you have just struck Big Bear gold! Only a brief walk to the lake in the area known as Eagles Point Estates and home to Meadow Park swim beach. Guests feel this cottage offers more privacy due to it being nestled amongst two lots. This is an unusual find as most cabins have a cabin on either side.

Upon first glance, its charming gingerbread trimmings and storybook exterior appearance adds a warm welcoming touch and is only the beginning of its appeal. Once inside you are invited into a cozy living room complete with wood burning fireplace and all the elements that make for a great social area to relax and enjoy one another. The tasteful décor continues to embellish its warm & inviting atmosphere.

Curl up with a good book while you warm yourself by a crackling fire on a cool summer night or chilly winter day. Sip a hot toddy or drink hot cocoa and roast marshmellows for an indoor campout or play board games by a warm hearth.

The floor plan has been thoughtfully articulated. The main social areas are all a part of one another yet each area is separate. The dining area and kitchen are separated from the living room by a couple of steps. Guests in the living room can also enjoy conversations with guests that are seated at the dining table or creating culinary delights within the kitchen.

The dining table is exceptionally large, perfect to seated guests while also putting all your delectable dishes on the table to eat family style, or, maybe you prefer to do some scrap booking projects, play board games, or card games, whatever your choice is, you’re guaranteed to have the room you need on this extraordinarily large table.

The kitchen is just the perfect size and master planned for ease of working within. It’s proximity to the dining and living room allows the chef to stay involved with everyone whether they are seated at the dining table or in the living room. Holiday entertaining or otherwise is a breeze.

The three bedrooms are quaint and cozy. Each one offers its unique comforts for its inhabitants. The first bedroom is located in the front of the home (East side) and has 3 custom made twin beds, gives you the feeling that you would expect to find the three bears sleeping in them because they are all just right and perfect for a good nights sleep!

There are two additional rooms situated to the back of the home (West side). Bedroom #2 offers a spacious king bed as well as its own bathroom. In order to get to bedroom #3 you must walk thru this room, however, there are doors on both sides of the room to close for privacy when needed.

Bedroom #3 is perfect for two guests as it offers a Twin/Twin bunk bed and also has a flat screen TV for entertainment.

Additional conveniences are a washer and dryer, perfect for extended stays as well as to dry snow play clothes in the winter.

The surrounding yard is expansive and immaculate. Although fenced, the fencing is not appropriate security to allow for pets to roam freely unsupervised. There is a barbecue for the outdoor chef who wants to cook the catch of the day brought up from the lake down the street.

Lake Walk Cottage is centrally located to all the seasonal activities Big Bear has to offer as well as not far from local markets making this cottage a highly demanded commodity.Read more

  This place was perfect! The cost was worth it!!! I would book here again when I go to Big Bear. This location was close to everything (including Snow Summit). The backyard was huge! :)

  We really loved this cabin it was just right for what we were going for. To spend a weekend with family and friends as the kids took advantage of the snow. It has an enourmous back yard where the kids were able to run and play freely.
