This cabin has all the essentials-beds, bathroom, kitchen, seating areas, but it needs a lot of updates & work. There are wobbly chairs in the dining room, chunks of linoleum missing from the kitchen floor, one screen door that won't open, and the whole place needs a new coat of paint on the inside. If you're just looking for a place with the essentials, this is the place for you. The best perk was that it was stocked with games-great for keeping kids busy. Read more

It was ok, not too happy with cool cabin rentals, they didnt advise after hours fees and where I had to pick up the keys. Literally driving up and down big bear for like an hour. Didnt answer phones. It was not a goid experience. Read more

Cool Cabins is the best rental place in Big Bear. I've used others and they dont come close. Cool Cabins provided all our linens, towels, paper goods, made sure the cabin was ready to move into. The cabin was very comfortable, charming, and the perfect choice for our small quilting retreat. It was still warm weather but when we opened the windows it was very comfotable with the breezes. Well lit inside even at night. It was easy to find and close enough to town if you needed things. We loved this cabin and plan on going back in the spring. Kelly at Cool Cabins waited on me and she was great. Cool Cabins is a great place to rent from and really want your stay to be a great time. I will tell my friends about Cool Cabins and I'll be back at least twice a year. Thank you Kelly and Cool Cabins for a great experience.

We had some of our cross country team members up for a week of hill running and the house provided a good home base for us in-between runs and in and around town.

the good was we liked the fact that it was secluded tucked away but it did have homes next to us but our neighbors were awesome! the only thing that was wrong was no wifi but do you really want wifi when your camping?

overall a nice stay. really appreciated the little amenities in the baskets. Would have found it much nicer if linen for fold out couch had been more accessible than a pile of blankets in a back closet. It took us a long time to find even those and thankfully it was a layed back teenage boy on the couch so he didn't care that there were no sheets. It made me wonder why you bothered to ask how many would be staying in the cabin. I had to put a blanket on the bottom bunk because it had no mattress pad. The other difficulty was the lack of matches to light the fireplace. We had to get real creative with that. If we had known there would be no matches we would have brought our own. Of course all this happened after 8 or so at night.
Upfront nice but needs some updating and repairs.

Awesome - Beautiful Cabin. It made me feel right at home. Upstairs was spacious and has a beautiful fireplace with great views of the ski slopes. Down stairs has three bedrooms rooms, two are perfect for the younger kids. Downstairs also has a getaway room that has it's own fireplace, king size bed and balcony. The downstairs also has a great bath spa for two, with great jet action. Absolutly a must stay for those cuddly romantic nights. It's also quick to get to and back out of town.
just another cabin

This cabin was so clean and so organized that I felt right at home. The whole gang loved it and the short distance from Snow Summit gave us an easy trip to the slopes and a beautiful night view of the lighted mountain! I will definitely book this cabin again.
